• DAY 6
Fenrir: yaa~wn, quite stiff sleeping in the tree. Well, it's at least better than how I used to sleep before.
I then proceeded to jump down the tree I slept in before heading to hunt again.
Fenrir's thoughts: I wonder whats for breakfast today, I hope it's that snake again.
I wandered near the base as I carried another dead rabbit hoping for a night viper to take the bait. I kept moving further away as nothing but rabbits kept attacking me. Though I did kill them and carried them with me, I still wanted the snake more than the rabbit. That delicious flavour isn't something you just forget in a day, especially if you were sealed in a cave and wasn't even fed once a year.
Fenrir: *sigh did I eat all those snakes to extinction or something? Fucking odin, its already been an hour or so!... Hmm?
After ranting, I sensed multiple unfamiliar beast coming towards me at high speeds probably because of the rabbits.
Fenrir: *sigh how ironic, the oh so great wolf of apocalypse is now being hunted by the creatures who used to bow down at a mere sight of me.
Wolves: grrrr/grawr!/rawrawr!
Wolf leader: awooo!!
Fenrir: so, you're the leader.
The wolf leader had white fur, completely opposite from his subordinates who have black fur, the leader was probably what the old man called a variant or a rare species. It stopped its subordinates from attacking me recklessly before it looked at me with bloodlust emitting in his body. It then growled at me as I smirked at it.
Fenrir: Bow down.
I then exerted some pressure on the wolfs as they stopped their movements and growls as they bowed their heads down and whimpered, trying to appease their impudence.
Fenrir: good, now what should I do with you guys, hmm~, Oh, I got it. Since I still need to protect those who treated me as "family", I'm going to have you guard the kobolds cave, got that?
The other wolves hesitantly nodded their heads in agreement in fear of angering me.
Fenrir: no worries, you can still hunt for food and in exchange for guarding the kobolds, the kobolds will guard you too so Its a win win situation. For now, follow me first. I still need you to find me some snakes.
Wolves: awoooo!!
And the morning went just like that. The wolves scattered at my command trying to find night vipers. I ordered them to howl if they ever find a night viper as we got a haul of them. It seems that night vipers literally go out and hunt at night, it seems I just got lucky yesterday and caught like five, I thought they got named night vipers because of their black coloration.
Fenrir: So thats why I didn't find any of them, thats kinda annoying if I could just eat them at dinner. Good thing I still could understand the language of wolves, if not, I would have been wasting my morning finding snakes.
After having a meal with the wolves, I went back to the cave and introduced the wolves to the kobolds. Though they were wary at first, they gradually calmed down especially when I petted and ordered some of the wolves.
Nencho: it seems that you never fail to amaze us, little one. Being able to move and talk a day after you were born to being able to kill dangerous creatures in this forest and command wolves.
Fenrir: it's nothing, really. All I needed to do was exert enough pressure to make them follow me.
Nencho: and that is what's impressive about it. You were able to even make that wolf leader, a variant beast, even a normal wolf leader is known to be prideful, now how about a variant of that bowing down and following your commands? Thats very impressive, and seeing from the beast you've slain, I could say that you might be nearing you're rank-up. Maybe in the next day you would become a new species, who knows.
