Genshin Impact, Diluc x Lumine love story: Chapter 1

Part 2: Apologize.

I woke up with a wet rag on my forehead and everything was aching. "Ow.." I mumbled. "Lumine! Your awake!" Paimon yelled, going over to me. "What happened?.." I mumbled and I sat up.

"Well.. Venti got you drunk at the winery yesterday and Jean showed up saying she needed to speak with you and then she seen you drunk and she went to get Kaeya and-" I cut her off,

"Don't tell me the rest, please. Oh god.. we have to apologize to Master Diluc!" I said. The door opened and Kaeya walked in with a hot bowl in his hands. "Morning." He said and he set the bowl down next to me.

I looked at him and smiled a bit, "Good morning, I'm so sorry about yesterday." I said and I picked the bowl up. He shrugged, "I had no problem with it." He said.

After a few hours:

"I'm so so sorry about yesterday Lumine! I swear I didn't mean to get you drunk!" Venti said. I laughed a little and sighed, "It's okay Venti, it's my fault honestly, I should have been more careful. Although I do need to apologize to Master Diluc." I said.

He nodded and we started walking back to the winery.

"What is it now?" Diluc said, as we entered the winery. Cold as always. "I'm here to apologize about yesterday, I got drunk and I don't remember what happened exactly, so I'm sorry." I said, leaning my head down.

I swear if he says anything stupid- "I accept your apology." He said. I looked up at him in shock and I sighed in relief. "Now get out." He said. "Nothing new." Venti said as we walked out.

I laughed a little and sighed, "Right.." I said. I looked at Paimon and smiled. Everything seemed like a dream.. knowing Aether might not ever return.. knowing I may never find him..

"You okay?" Venti said, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked at him and realized I was crying, I sniffled, "Yep, sorry." I said and smiled. "I can play a song for you!" He said. I nodded and we sat under a tree.

The song was very soft and he played it very slowly. He played the notes very high and it made the song sound even more beautiful, it made me happy. The slightest song reminded me of Aether in a way.

I closed my eyes and listened to him play.
