Part 7: Why Do I Feel This Way?

"For what?.." I asked, when we stopped in front of the house. "I didn't hurt you.. did I?" He asked. I shook my head. "Good.." He said. He felt bad.. and that was obvious, I pulled him into a hug.. hoping that it would comfort him the same way he comforted me.

He laughed a little and he wrapped his arms around me. He was warm.. and that's what made the hug enjoyable. We stayed like that and said nothing. "I don't know why I did that.." He finally said.

"I don't know why I feel this overprotective of you. I'm confused." He whispered. My heart started pounding and I didn't know what to say. He feels the same way. I didn't say anything and he sighed.

He pulled away and looked at me, "Is there.. something wrong with me?" He asked. I shook my head and my face felt really warm, so many questions! He looked at me confused, he bent down to my height, and he put his nose to mine.

I stayed quiet and he just looked at me. "You're really warm, are you alright?" He said. I nodded and I laughed nervously. How do I act as though nothing is wrong?.. He pulled away again and opened the door to the house. I went inside and everything felt a lot more fresh.

"Lumine.." He whispered and I felt really warm suddenly, and then I realized he was leaning right over me. I looked at him confused and he put his face close to mine.

The door flung open and we both moved away from each other. "How dare you leave Paimon!!" She yelled, going towards me. I laughed nervously, "S-Sorry Paimon." I said. She groaned and she went up to our room.

I sighed and I looked at Diluc, he smiled and he went to his room as well. I closed the door and I stood there for a few minutes, what just happened?.. I sat on the couch and I put my hands together.

He was so close to me.. I thought I was gonna die! My heart felt like it was gonna jump out. I groaned and I looked out the window. What is going on with me? Why do I act this way?! I'm so confused!

I don't know how to feel about this, and obviously he doesn't know either. What was happening?!
