The Sasaki Clan, though not one of the top three, is an ancient and powerful sorcerer family. Their cursed techniques (though ranging) and their level of cursed energy was some that others could only dream of having in their line of work. To outside jujutsu sorcerers, the Sasaki family was the embodiment of genetic strength.
And then they all died.
Kazuya isn't sure when all of his relatives perished. He knows it was during his younger years, perhaps an infant, because he doesn't remember the massacre despite being present for it. His mothers have difficulty talking about the event (understandably) so besides the fact that he barely made it out alive, all Kazuya knows is that a cursed spirit somehow got the best of his whole clan.
Kazuya is sure his ancestors would haunt them if they knew about his decision to end his bloodline of jujutsu sorcerers here. He doesn't even wish to avenge them really; there is no desire to go out and hunt the cursed spirit who made it out unscathed. And if his ancestors don't haunt him, then living people who had looked forward to seeing his power would.
So his mothers promised to keep it quiet, and began trying to get them out of the sorcerer life. After loosing every single one of their family members they don't exactly wish to stay either. At least point they would give their own livelihoods to protect Kazuya, especially after loosing their elder daughter in the Sasaki genocide.
Now the Sasaki family only has one string tethering them to the jujutsu sorcerer's world, a string that the young boy must snip himself if he is to be free of eternal pain and suffering.
The thing is, Megumi Fushiguro doesn't want to let go.

anyways happy pride 2021 :3 its hard for me to celebrate it irl bc of my job & bc of family, so im just gonna celebrate it by writing this :D
speaking of this i dont really have a solid plot in mind but this is gonna be on the shorter side (10 or less chapters), and the ending might be angsty-ish im not sure. im kinda just gonna wing each chapter as i go along
