How Do I Tell Him

"If I told you I liked you what would you do?" I asked Dana.

He looked up at me with a questioning look on his face, "Wait, are you serious?"

"Agh really Dana! I am trying to practice what I am going to tell Cole, but I can't do that if you won't pay attention." This was it. I was finally going to tell Cole how I feel, but I am scared. For the past twenty minutes I have been practicing on Dana so I could see how a guy would usually react to what I was saying.

"Kat you might want to ask Gabe for help. I am no good at this."

"Neither is he! He has been with the same girl for the past five years. There is no way he can help."

"Well maybe Cole can help you out-"

"Oh my god Dana do you not get it? Cole is the one that I am trying to tell that I like."n

Dana stood up and walked over to me with a shocked expression on his face, "Wait hold up, you like Pendery? Since when."

Is he serious. I gathered all of my things and made my way towards the door. "Thank you for all of your help Dana, it really meant a lot to me." I told him sarcastically then went out the door. I had planned to just walk straight towards the front door when there was a little detour when I stepped on someones leg.

When they cried out I knew exactly who it was. "Gabe what the hell are you doing out here." I screeched. I was so loud that none other than Cole came towards us with a worried expression on his dace.

"Hey what's with all the yelling."

"Come with me Cole." Gabe began and beckoned him to follow, "I'll tell you everything I know." Of course Gabe would. Note to self, kill Gabriel Martin.

I began to panic. There was nothing else left for me to do. All I even could do was sit and wait to see what he tells Cole. My breaths soon became staggered as I felt my lungs begin to tighten up. This all seems like too much. Cole can not find out this way.

As I was busy having a mini heart attack over a teenage boy, I never noticed that Dana had come out of his room. "Look Kat I'm sorry I couldn't of been more help- woah, what happened to you?"

In between breathes I managed to get a few words out, "Gabe is what happened. H-He was listening through the door and is telling Cole as we speak."

"Oh Kat, I am so sorry that is no way for him to find out. I would hate to be you right now."

"Wow, thanks for all of your support." I said, swatting him in the arm. He cried out in "pain" and I could not help but smirk.

There was the sound of a door opening and closing then Cole came in with the smile that I know so well and causes my insides to melt as if it were made of chocolate. He then gave Dana a look that caused him to retreat to his room. "Kat can I ask you a question?"

"You just did."

"Then can I ask you another question?"

"You just did."

"God Kat, stop being nervous. Do you like me?" I stood there in silence looking at him. "So it is true." he murmured and I looked away to avoid seeing his reaction. But Cole had another idea. He took my hands away from my face and pulled me into a hug. "I'm glad that you feel that way because i like you too."

A smile that was bigger than the new IPhone grew etched onto my face. "Hey Cole can I ask you a question?"

"You just did, I'm just teasing you. What's up?"

"Would you want to um go on a date with me sometime?"

Cole grinned, "I would love that"
