This just came to me while I was listening to "Last of her kind" by Alec Benjamin
----- LAST OF HER KIND
She wakes up in a forest
Without any idea of who she is and why she ended up in there, the only thing she could find with her is a book and an emerald gem at her pocket
So she roams around and finds a man in a green coat
The man pointed his axe at her thinking that she was a threat, she looks at the man in fear as she lowered her head
The man took pity on her and brought her to his campsite
There he fed her and asked her to talk
The girl introduced herself as Y/N and handed the book to the stranger, but the man could not read the book for it is in another language.
The girl explains that she lost her memories and the boom was somewhat her diary explaining SOME details about her life
In the first chapter it reads "you are Y/N..15 years old, and you are the last of your kind."
The rest of the book seemed to be blank
The stranger takes her in since she is just a child
And decides to adopt her as his own, Y/N jumps in joy knowing she now has a new family
But her new father was very overprotective and he did not want her to go outside the house they built together
She turns 16 and she wished to roam around, but her father did not allow her to..
One day her father had to attend to some things so he left her alone
And she runs off to the outside world promising to be back before sundown
As she walks and walks, she stumbles upon a portal...so she goes through it, she remember her father telling her that portals are gates that lead to the underworld
