Emerald Green Eyes

⚃Hello and Goodbye⚃

Dream ran into the mist, the boy put his hand in front of him, in order to somehow find the entrance. His steps echoed, as it looked to be like he was in an endless void.

"Dream..." an unfamiliar voice called, which caused the boy to turn around. There in front of him was the view of the gate, but the person that called him was nowhere to be seen nor did he recognize the voice at all, but Dream decided to ignore it all for now and continued on.

The boy without hesitation as he ignored the fact that he could not see a thing, screams slowly filled his head with every step he took but he continued none the less. He could only hoped for the other's safety. As he neared the end of the dark mist, the screams got louder and louder which unlocked a certain memory deep inside him. The boy swallowed his fear and continued to walk the endless mist of pure darkness, the boy tried his hardest to block the screams he heard and push away the ghost of the past. The howls of the winds only got stronger and colder, almost as if it was warning him not to continue.

Dream smiled as he saw a small light in the distance, a sign that he was almost out of the never ending darkness. without hesitation the boy ran towards it.

"welcome..."

The boy's eyes widened at the sight that lay before him. There stood in front of him was a man in a dark suit. Dark horns grew from both sides of his head, and his familiar eyes no longer felt familiar for it was completely swallowed up by darkness. His blood ran cold just at the presence of his...no. HER old lover.

"hello again love..." the man sneered, as he waved his hand behind him as if to show the wonderful 'view' to the boy. Dream followed his gaze and what he saw shook him to the core, eyes widened in fear, as he trembled in his spot, unable to move an inch.

In front of him, a giant rose bush stood tall, its spikes glowed a dark shade of red. And there entangled in them was five familiar figures whom he treasured. They all looked at him with a pained expression, they wanted to voice out a cry but out of shame of their state, they stayed quiet. They had never wished for the boy to see them in this state.

"Wil...Techno...Sap...George...Fundy..." the blonde slowly called to them, tears rolled down the boy's cheek as he saw the look of pain in their eyes. He had feared that this day would come, and he completely blamed himself for it.

"Dream...run..." The shorter brunette called, tears also stained his cheeks. Dream shook his head as he turned to the man in black. The man walked towards him and placed a hand on his cheek, wiping the tears away. Dream glared at the man and kept quiet.

"do you like the present love?" the man asked, his dark aura made the boy tremble yet he refused to show his fear to the man before him.

Schlatt lifted the boy's chin to have a look at his emerald green eyes. The eyes he was so fond of ever since the day he met her in that forest. Dream's eyebrows furrowed as he slapped the man's hands away.

"Tell me what the fuck do you want." The boy said firmly, new tears formed in his eyes. As he stared at the man, whom his past life used to love.

The man's face turned from calm to a hurt and pained expression, he backed away from the boy and stared daggers at him.

"you're seriously asking me that?..." the man gritted his teeth in anger. Tension built up, as the boy refused to answer him. He knew what she did but he wanted to hear Schlatt's reason other than speculating.

A distant scream was heard, Dream looked up to see the teachers and students in the sky, one by one they were caught by the ghouls and the thorns. Dream's eyes widened when he saw Skeppy and Bad tied to the very top of the school, thorns also pierced their skin as they lay unconscious. The two of them held hands, and the vines wrapped themselves tighter and tighter to their bodies which caused them to lose a lot of blood.
