"You going to Hogsmeade after that?" asked Vladimir as he leaned against the door post with his arms crossed.
"One more paragraph, please," (Name) stared intently into her book.
Vladimir sighed "Why do you even read those Muggle books?"
"The contents are not quite Muggle," responded (Name). She placed a bookmark in and set the book on the table. She got off the couch and grabbed her coat. "It has wizards and magic and dragons and the such."
"And it also contains....?"
"Hobbits. Honestly Vlad, you must read the book, it's thrilling"
"I'll read it over the summer. Now come on, Milen's waiting for us"
The two exited the Gryffindor Common Room and later out the doors into the grounds, where Milen was waiting for them.
"Everybody else left, you know," he said, annoyed.
"Sorry, but (Name) just couldn't get her eyes off of her dashing Elf."
She rolled her eyes. "His name is Legolas. Now come on, or people are going to be annoyed."
The three trudged through the grounds and onto a cobbled road on an unusually chilly spring afternoon.
People were milling about in Hogsmeade, minding their own business.
Vladimir and his friends reached a pub with the name of The Three Broomsticks. He held the door open for them and immediately they were hit by shouting.
"Hey look who's here!" Someone called out.
"You guys are late!"
"Well there's a spot for you three over there-"
Someone pointed at an empty table and the trio shuffled over there just as someone tapping on glass was heard.
The three turned and gasped.
"Professor Edelstein?!"
The teacher smiled warmly at the three and stood up, holding a glass of Butterbeer above his head. His wife sat next to him.
"I am here today to congratulate you all on putting up through seven years here at Hetawarts. Today, you are now officially considered full-fledged wizards and witches!"
Everyone raised their Butterbeer mug and yelled out "Cheers!" and shouts of approval.
And now began the shoutouts and the thanks. Vladimir sighed, for this was going to take a while. Milen calmly sipped his Butterbeer as they watched students stand up raise their glass.
"Um...I would like to thank my brother Vash for giving me courage to pass my classes, even if he isn't here at the moment..."
(Name) started to think about the past years. She and Vladimir were always playing pranks on everybody, but the stopped after that incident with the monsters. She remembered that she took the blame to save Vladimir from punishment, but she still hasn't figured why he had done such a thing-
"I would like to call out Vladimir,"
Vladimir's eyes darted up and saw Edelstein raising his glass toward him.
"You have always been the most annoying student I have ever had and I admit, I didn't like that"
Students chuckled and Vladimir grinned.
"But I have heard that you have separated yourself from that, and so I raise my glass to you, for growing up."
He raised his glass and Vladimir nonchalantly raised his. People applauded and cheered. Edelstein was about to sit down just as Vladimir winked at (Name) and flicked his wand, which was hidden under the table.
