the next day, jinghua arrived at the producer room with a bright smile, greeting everyone inside as she sat in her original spot between rain and bang sihyuk - dressed casually in a pair of denim jeans and a lavender sweater with a pair of white sneakers and her brunette hair tied into a simple ponytail. "hello hello!~" she smiled at everyone, pushing herself into the desk as she picked up the pen that laid on the desk and began fiddling with it. "is the signal song ready?" she questions bang sihyuk who nodded at her question, wanting to explain the song once everyone arrived. minutes after jinghua's arrival, mayse waltz into the room dressed casually in a simple blue dress and doc martin boots - her black hair styled in soft waves."hi!" the maknae of the producers cheered as she sat on her chair, tucking her hair behind her ears as she bowed to each of her seniors, adjusting her sitting position before tuning into what bang sihyuk was saying.
"thank you mayse for singing the demo," the founder of hybe corporation thanked the young adult who smiled, waving a dismissive hand as she tells the man it was nothing in her eyes. off-camera and during their breaks, the five producers had gotten close to each other and even exchanged numbers for future collaborations. bang sihyuk then began explaining the meaning behind the signal song for i-land, the four guest judges nodded understandingly before looking at the screen in front of them to listen to the song and watch the choreography for the song.
"i have some trainees in mind for some parts," jinghua pointed out, tapping her pen to the melody of the signal song for the show; into the i-land. mayse's head turned to the older female, pointing a finger at her with a bright smile as she yells out 'me too unnie!', reaching over the table and high-fiving her which caused the males to chuckle at the two.
"when i was recording, i thought of these trainees in specific singing a certain part," the black-haired female explained with various hand gestures, smiling as she lightly hummed the melody of the song before frowning as she pointed at the screen. "but i wonder how stable they will be considering the choreography."
it had been a few weeks until it was time for two of the producers to meet with the i-land trainees for evaluations - this first time being where the stage was located and the two producers to attend the first evaluations were rain and jinghua. the seventeen member lets out a sigh, puffing out her cheeks as she waited for the boys' arrival - dressed in a matching black two-piece set consisting of a blazer and skirt with a white top underneath and a pair of black boots, her hair in soft waves. "nervous?" rain asked the female who merely nodded with a small smile. "don't be. we're here to help them improve," he reassures the female who nodded in agreement.
hearing the door to where the two producers stood, rain and jinghua remain still in the shadows of the room with their clipboards as the i-landers rushed into the room - noticing the two figures standing away from them. soon the lights lit up, revealing rain and jinghua who smiled at the 12 trainees that were seemingly surprised by their presence, approaching them with kind smiles plastered on both their faces. "jinghua sunbaenim," the idol heard one of the trainees mutter softly, glancing over to where she heard the voice from and smiled at the trainees who gasped at her actions.
