Fans of SEVENTEEN and NCT are flabbergasted by the recent posts by one of the industry's most beloved couples, Jinghua and Jaehyun, asking fans to give their family privacy.

In December of 2021, the married couple welcomed their second child into the world and have been raising her privately for the past 8 months. The couple have only posted pictures of their family on their separate Instagram accounts, @wangjii and @_jeongjaehyun.

However, despite the cheerful appearance of their family online, the couple posted a series of Instagram stories on September 18th, asking for sasaengs to leave them  and their family alone.

In Jinghua's stories, she claims a group of sasaengs found and loitered the family's property, hoping to photograph the couple and their children in the privacy of their home. She goes on to ask for the group to leave the property and not invade her family's lives as she and Jaehyun wished for their children to live away from the public eye.

Jaehyun also posted on his Instagram story, a series of photographs of the group loitering by the family's fencing with large cameras and flashlights.

On the morning of September 21st, PLEDIS Entertainment and SM Entertainment released an official statement on behalf of the couple, claiming legal actions against those who invade their privacy.

PLEDIS Entertainment's statement reads: "Hello,
This is PLEDIS Entertainment.
For the past few weeks, our artist Jinghua of SEVENTEEN has been coming to us with concern for her and her family's privacy.
After much discussion about what she would like to do about this issue, we are here to announce on the behalf of her that we will be taking legal action against these absurd fans.
We are currently working with local police officers with SM Entertainment to find those who invaded the family's privacy and will be issuing lawsuits against them.
We thank fans who have helped bring this issue to light and hope Jinghua and her family can now live peacefully in their home.
Thank you."

SM Entertainment's statement reads: "Hello,
This is SM Entertainment.
Recently our artist, Jaehyun of NCT has come to us about the concern of his and his family's privacy after recent events.
On his behalf, we are announcing that we will be taking legal action against these absurd fans who have leaked private information about the couple and have been invading their privacy.
We, with PLEDIS Entertainment, are working to find the group of stalkers who loitered the couple's property and will be issuing lawsuits against them.
Thank you."
