"New school new people," I kept repeating, "new school new people." This year will be different, it has to be.

"Olivia! Get your ass down here we're gonna be late." That would be my brother Robert, but I love calling him Robby because it annoys him.

I ran down the steps quickly. I should probably hurry. I ran into the twins bedroom to grab their diaper bag and my school bag.

"Let's go, I don't care if your new, you shouldn't be late on the first day." I rolled my eyes at him, "Then let's go, the twins are in the car right?" He nodded.

We soon pulled up to a gigantic building. I took a look around. I guess this is my new school. I start thinking about every bad thing possible. I was pulled out of my thoughts by my brothers voice, "Have a good day Oli, and I'm going to need you to babysit the kids tonight."

I nodded, "Should I get them from daycare?" he nodded, also understanding I didn't want to be here.

"By kiddo. You know I love you, right?" I nodded "I love you, too." Why do we have to take care of the kids? Well that's another story I'll tell you later.

As I walked towards the door, I turned around to glance my brother. Gone. No turning back now.

This school has cliques. I can see I can see populars because the outfits and the jocks drooling over them. There are even hipsters, cool.

As I carry on, I can feel people staring as I walk. I then realized I don't know where the office was. I forgot, clumsy me, wait what? Anyway I tapped on a decent looking person, "Umm, could you maybe show me where the office is?" He nodded and started to walk. I took that as my que to follow. He soon stopped, "Here you go and also I'm Charlie." I nodded, "Well, thanks Charlie." He walked away and I walked into the office.

"Hi, I'm the new student Olivia Richards," I informed the office lady. She nodded then typed something into her computer.

"Here you are, I'll just print you out a copy of your schedule." She got up and walked into a room and came back seconds later.

"Here's your schedule and have a good day. Come back if you need anymore help," She smiled.

I looked down at my schedule and saw my classes.

1st Period, Science~ Mr. Clifford Room-212

2nd Period, English~ Mr. Hood Room-92

3rd Period, Physical Education~
Mr. Irwin Room- Gymnasium

4th Period, free

5th Period, Music~ Mr. Horan Room-85

6th Period, Math~ Mr. Hemmings Room-55

Just great. Every other floor one of my classes will be upstairs then downstairs.

As I was taking a second look at my schedule, the bell rang. I guess it's time for first period.

I stepped out of the office and I was looking at the doors number. Great, I just remembered it's downstairs. Well time to run. I ran into something hard and there was a paper shower. "I'm so, so sorry," I scrambled to pick up the papers. I looked up and stood up. I wasn't short, I was 5'7. But his dude was towering over me! I shook my head and handed him his papers. "I'm sorry," I said looking down. I heard footsteps. Shit, I'm late.

I soon made it to Mr. Clifford's class. I walked in while he was talking and everyone was seated. But now all eyes were on me and I felt the heat rush to my cheeks. I tucked a piece of my raven colored hair behind my ear.

"Hi," I whispered. He nodded and gave me a small smile, "Welcome. You must be Olivia, correct?" I nodded. "Well come in, take a seat next to Alexis," he pointed at a girl with huge boobs and bright red hair. She looked at me and I saw her bold red lipstick

I walked over and sat down.

She was texting someone and giggled. Mr. Clifford looked up. I looked at her. "Shhh," I whispered.

"Something funny Olivia?" Mr. Clifford asked. I shrugged, "Ask Alexis."

Her face was red she looked at me and smirked. She started to cry, "What's your problem? I'm not a fat whore!" Everyone gasped.

"I-I-I didn't," I stuttered.

Mr. Clifford face was red with rage. "We don't tolerate that in my class in the hall," He exclaimed. I grabbed my stuff and scurried out.

I leaned against the lockers then a door slammed. I saw Mr. Clifford coming towards me. "Explain yourself."

I squinted my eyes in confusion. "She is lying. I told her to be quiet," I stated, full with honesty.

He looked down and let out a puff of air. "I know it's your first day but, we shouldn't be having this conversation. This is your last and final warning." I nodded.

Ring! Ring! He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. His eyes widened, then got teary. He shoved it back into his pocket and leaned against the lockers. He slid down his head in his hands then I heard whimpers and a sob.

"What's wrong?" I set my stuff down and sat next to him. I've done this way to many times

"My girlfriend just k-kind of dumped m-me over text message." I nodded. This happened to Robby before. "Stand up."

I looked up at me through his puffy eyes. He rubbed his eyes. Oh my God, he looks like a kitten. He stood up I hugged him. He hugged back.

"Hugs make everything better. You just need to forget about her. If she is that low and dumps you over text, she wasn't worth it." He nodded.

"Thank you, Olivia. You are a really good person," He smiled softly, wiping some of the tears away from his eyes.

After another dreadful hour, the bell rang.

I think I made a new friend. I felt a small smile crawling its way onto my face.
