" Kitne logo ko daawat deni hain?" Bakhtaawar sat with a small notepad in his hands as he sipped on tea with the other.
Saifaan looked at Sohai who was talking with Zafiraa and Yusra in hushed tones, not even glancing at him even for once.
" Bachhey humesha hi ek chhoti si ceremony chahtey they toh mujhe lagta hain hume unki khwaish poori karni chahiye" Shahbaaz looked at the others and they all nodded in agreement.
Saifaan smiled at that and turned stealthily to see if she had noticed him yet. Nope! Still talking with the girls. Were they gossipping about him?
" Toh uss hisaab se phir sirf humari families aur kuch dost hoge" Bakhtaawar calculated and they wouldn't even be more than two hundred people.
Two hundred seems enough for them.
" Phir Abbu venue dhoondne ki zarurat nahi rahegi. Humare aangan mein hi kar sakte hain" Abu Bakr advised his father who looked convinced me with it.
Saifaan loved the idea of an intimate wedding, it has always been his dream to have a close knit small affair for his Nikaah.
" Yeh bhi sahi hain. Shahbaaz ke aangan mein jananiyon ka hissa rakh sakte hain aur Bakhtaawar ke aangan mein mardo ka" Sahil further explained and everyone agreed.
" Sab raazi hain iss baat se?" Bakhtaawar asked one last time and when they all agreed, he opened the last page of the notepad and wrote down the venue and guest list details in the finalized section.
" Theek hain, catering ka zimma Azhar sambhaal lega?" Bakhtaawar asked the young boy who was sitting with them but was occasionally talking with the girls and not paying attention to their talks.
" Azhar!" Saifaan called out loudly to the younger boy, not liking how Sohai was chatting so freely with him and how she was blatantly ignoring him.
" Jee Bhai?" Azhar asked him cluelessly and was hit on the head by Sohai.
Why is she so free with that boy and not him?
" Abbu kuch pooch rahe hain" Saifaan gritted out and the boy looked at the men just as cluelessly.
" Azhar Beta, catering ka aap dekh lenge?" Gulaisha asked him softly and he immediately nodded his head a yes.
" Bilkul Chachi yeh bhi koi poochne wali baat hain? Chachu aaplog menu decide karein baaki ka main kar lunga" he turned to the men and assured them.
" Menu bhi Bhai abhi hi decide karlo. Baad mein yeh kaam bhi bohot bada lagega" Haroon told them, biting into a rusk and sipping his tea.
" Biryani toh rakhna hi hain, iss aafat ko bohot pasand hain" Abu Bakr pointed at his sister who just poked her tongue out at him in defiance.
" Aur kebabs inn laadsahab ko" Abu Bakr pointed at Saifaan whose eyes went wider at the mere mention of kebabs.
" Theek hain kebabs aur biryani toh Nikaah wale din shaam mein rakhenge. Baaki rasmo ka kya? Teen din tak ka menu decide karein" Azhar took out his phone and typed up the dishes in his notepad.
" Haldi wale din par shaam mein pulao aur meethey mein zarda?" Saba suggested and they agreed.
It was commonly made on the day of haldi as it was no fuss.
" Mehendi wale din par?" Azhar asked again as he filled up his notepad.
" Aahhh aahhh Resha Korma aur parathey" Sohai jumped up excitedly but Abu Bakr looked at her in a bored expression.
" Mehendi lagey haathon se tum paratha aur Korma kha paogi? Aur tumhe khilaane walo ko bhi dikkat hogi" He asked her logically and she pouted at it.
