" Yumna maine thappad lagaana hain tumhe!" Sohai yelled at a scared Yumna who looked like a deer caught in headlights.

" Bhabhi?" Yumna felt tears brimming in her eyes, ready to flow on cue.

" Ab zyaada cute banney ki koshish nahi karo tum, mujhe tumhaare saarey paithrey pata hain" Sohai snatched the saucepan from her hands and gave her the stink eye.

" Bhabhi, mere taraf se bhi dou laga dein" Yaaseen scowled from the kitchen door seeing the young girl in there.

How dare she step foot inside there when she was specifically asked not to!

" Naak mein dum kar rakha hain iss bewakoof ladki ne" Yaaseen said angrily and Yumna finally felt the tears running down her face.

Why were they being so rude with her!

" Maine Phupho se shikaayat karni hain aap dono ki" she wiped her tears and didn't even stop when Yaaseen tried blocking her way.

If she did go to Gulaisha there won't be saving them from her wrath. She had a special place for her brother's daughter in her heart.

" Ab?" Yaaseen looked at his Bhabhi with a scared face and Sohai just shrugged her shoulders before going back to making tea.

" Yumna beta kya hua hain? Rou kyu rahi hou!" Gulaisha who was coming to the kitchen caught hold of her crying niece who looked really agitated.

" Aapke bahu aur betey se poochein. Har cheez se rokte hain mujhe. Yeh mera ghar nahi hain kya? Mera koi haq nahi hain yaha Phupho?" Yumna looked at Yaaseen accusingly and he just rolled his eyes at her daily drama.

His mother was the only one who falls for her crocodile tears. The others including him have figured out her tactics months ago!

" Bilkul hain tumhaara ghar Beta. Kisne kaha nahi hain? Yaasu ne?" Gulaisha looked angrily at her younger son who took the cup of tea that his Bhabhi got for him and they both sat on the diwan watching the daily soap unfold.

" Kisiko kehne ki kya zarurat hain Phupho? Main jaanti hoon. Mujhe apne ghar wapas jaana hain ab" Yumna told her teary eyed and Gulaisha scowled at her other two children as they munched on some salted biscuits with their tea, as if the girl wasn't crying at all!

" Tum kahi nahi jaa rahi hou! Jisse tumse taqleef hain woh jaayega yaha se aur tum khadi kyu hou?" Gulaisha gasped just realizing that the girl has been standing up for too long.

" Yaasu utho waha se" Gul ordered her son who immediately vacated his place on the Diwan and made way to sit on the couch.

They had recently purchased a new couch, a first in their house ever!

" Baitho yaha aur zyaada kaam nahi karo, achaa nahi hain tumhaare liye" Gulaisha instructed her gently and was stopped by a gasp of surprise from behind.

" Maine yahi baatein kya isse Faarsi mein kahi thi? Ammi aapki yeh beti itni badi nautanki hain kya batau!" Yaaseen exclaimed dramatically as Sohai enjoyed their daily dose of drama.

" Huh?" Gulaisha was confused and took the tea that her elder bahu handed over to her along with the biscuits.

" Subah uthey saath hi isse itne chakkar aarahe they aur madam ko chai ki talab bhi lagi thi. Jab tak main Bhabhi se kehne jaata chai banane, yeh aapki bhatiji uthkar kitchen tak pohonch chuki thi" Yaaseen complained to his mother who looked at her niece with narrowed eyes.

" Aapko doctor ne sakht bed rest karne kaha hain Yumna. Aisi laaparwaahi woh bhi jab aapko chakkar aarahe they tab? Aapse yeh umeed nahi thi mujhe" she admonished her gently and Yumna looked at her Bhabhi for support.
