Petra's POV

I woke up bright and early the next morning. I wanted to talk to Jess and Nikki but of course, they just ignored me. But what seemed to caught my eye was their beach wear. They're going to the beach? I didn't payed much attention to it as I looked for whom I mentioned last night. I figured he'll be in his house so I started there. Luckily, he was sitting on his porch, writing in his journal like usual. I went up to him but he got up, opening the door to his home.

"Thought so", he said as he held the door for me.

"What?", I questioned.

"I knew you'll come here, Jesse told me he had a small conversation with you yesterday", he answered. "Anyways, come in"

A deep ocean of questions went flowing through my brain as I walked in his small, yet cozy little home. I haven't been here in a while.. I remember Jesse and I used to run around here and just mess around, having the time of our lives.. I sighed heavily as I remembered those good times. I missed Jesse so much..

"Any refreshments?", Lukas asked, grabbing two chairs then put them at a table.

"What?..", I muttered, looking at the blonde boy. I swear Lukas is too formal. He needs the lower the levels a bit.

"My apologies, what drinks do you want?"

"Hm.. I'll take Orange juice I guess"

"Again, my apologies, I don't have orange juice"

"What? Why?", i smirked slightly.

Lukas blushed slightly as he embarrassedly says, "I get easily drunk when I have one"

I immediately started bursting of laughter at his little remark. Lukas narrowed his eyes and placed his hands on his hips like a mom. "Hey! I'm serious, Petra!"

"I-I'm sorry!", I snorted. "I couldn't help it!"

Lukas sighed before chuckling a bit himself. After the laugher died down, I sat down at a chair from the table nearby.

"I'll just take some coffee", I requested. Lukas nodded then he went to the kitchen and got started.

"Have you ever heard of, Invidia?", he asked as he made the drinks.

"No?", I answered, Lukas sighed as he took the sugar. "Why do you ask?"

"That's what Jesse's experiencing", he replied, taking a spoonful of sugar and placing it in the coffee.

"What does it mean, anyway?", I asked.

"Envious, jealousy", he directly answered.

This somehow stabbed by heart painfully. I knew he was jealous, those beautiful dark eyes staring at me when such envious and sadness.. I knew he was jealous of Jack somehow.. was it because I was drifting away from him ever since Jack came?..

"Jealous?", I repeated. "Why.. why would he be jealous?.. is it because I've been drifting away from him ever since Jack came?.."

Lukas just hummed, nodding in agreement as he stirred the coffee.

"Geez.. I should have said something earlier..", I muttered, scratching the back of my neck nervously. "but that doesn't mean I'll never stop talking to him.. it's just that.. Jack's.. interesting.."

"Interesting, she says?", he repeated quietly, almost in a singing voice. "What she means is that she has a crush on him"

I immediately got up, slamming my hands on the table loudly, causing him to flinch.
