◇ Serkan Bolat ◇

"Serkan Bey" The shrill voice of Leyla Haktan rang through the intercom.

"Effedem Leyla" He was busy as usual, swamped actually and true to his workaholic nature he would remain there till every last task was completed to perfection. There was nothing more infuriating than an interuption and his tone reminded Leyla exactly why she was possitively terrified of him.

"Its security, Mehmet bey actually. He says he needs to speak to you." She rattled on quickly, "Shall I transfer the call"

"Tamam" His office landline rung a moment later and he answered impatiently, "Ne, what's so important?"

"Serkan bey, there's been a breach .." Serkan cut him off.

"Ne ..." His voice was cold, he stood up from the big black leather chair situated behind an equally imposing mahoganny desk.

Mehmet continued hurriedly, sensing Serkan's anger,"The camera room, Sir. Nothing missing, just a jimmied lock and some broken office supplies. I caught the young lady when I saw the door left ajar on my way back from the breakroom"

"You mean she was on THIS floor... where the hell was security." Serkan was beyond furious at this point, but he wasn't yelling... yet.

"Thats why I wanted to talk to you, Boss. No-one has left their post all morning and we checked the feed, none of the cameras caught anything suspicious... If i hadn't walked by the camera room at that moment we wouldn't even have known she'd been here. The guard on overwatch duty was drugged, he's still out. Its like she was invisible, Boss." The young guy had a strange note in his tone.

Serkan sighed and rubbed his forehead in frustration,* Ibo has not even been gone a full morning and already something went wrong, this wrong. This guy's obviously useless ...  he caught her in the camera room, she could have easily deleted all footage of herself. At least that's what I would have done ... and thats the logical explanation for her 'invisibility.' However, camera's aside, she still made it past 25 floors of security guards, passcode-required checkpoints and his handpicked personal security team.. Kim bu Kiz ?...*

"Nerde sen." He opened his top drawer, taking out his Colt.

"I took her down to the Visitors room, we are waiting for you there, Sir. "

*This kid talks to much* He slid the gun into his shoulder holdster, grabbing his dark blue suit jacket. "Ben Geldim."

That much trouble to get in here, only to get caught for a simple mistake like leaving the door open... It didn't make sense. A now familiar feeling, fell into Serkan's chest as he shut his office door.

"Leyla!" he thundered, drumming his fingers on her desk since she was not behind it.

She scurried from the little kitchenette, holding what would have been his 4th cup of coffee of the morning. "Evet, Serkan bey." She placed the cup on her desk and grabbed her overly full notepad, quickly flipping to a blank page under his scrutinizing gaze.

Reschedule my meeting with Faruk bey for this afternoon at 2pm. Make sure Engin draws up the new budget estimates. Have Piryl call Idil hanim, to coordinate the inner and outer design aspects of the Hotel Project. He shot of a few other commands and Leyla hurriedly scribbled them down.
