Hell on Earth (Carlos x reader)

Chapter 2

Carlos's POV   

' I hope they'll be alright ' I turned around and went to go talk to captain " You think they'll be alright? " 

captain looked at me " they'll be just fine Carlos, it seems you have eyes on one of them and I'm thinking it's the other young lady that you went out to talk with " then it hit Carlos 

" she still hasn't told me her name "  he chuckled and then captain " you never listen, do you? " he chuckled but was stop when he grunted

Y/N POV 

 You guys were heading back to Carlos " so what do you think about Carlos Jill? " she turned to you " He seems sweet not much to be interested in  " you ran infront of her and gave her the stare " I'm buying it " you turned looking away from her " he seems to have a liking to you, ya know " she denied it and you sighed " well just sayin' " when you were heading back we met with Carlos " nice job super cop, I'm impressed. " 

" We back in business? " you saw that they both stared at each other for so long " yeah, mostly. But we need 30 to 40 minutes to finish maintenance. " 

' i knew they liked each other, they're really clueless' you then looked at Carlos when you felt something that you knew all to well " am i jealous?" you mumbled quietly " what? " Carlos looked from Jill to you " what? " you stared back at him nervous.

The gate door opened and you saw two people coming our way " Nikolai! How we doin'?  " 

" The town's crawling with those freaks, no chance of fighting our way out of the city. " he looked are Carlos then turned his head and  saw Jill " why is she here? " he pointed at her then looked at Carlos " She's helping get the train running again "

 Then Nikolai walked pass him then to face Jill " bad time to start carrying dead weight, friend. She's unreliable. Can't pull the trigger when it counts. " 

" hey, take it easy " Nikolai then moved away and faced Carlos " she'll get you killed " and with that he walked away with his partner, Carlos watched them leave and turned to face Jill.

" sorry about that. Everyone's a little worked up. "

' asshole ' you were mad that they underestimated Jill's skill, a a bang was heard and we whipped our heads to that direction, that thing was breaking through.

Carlos was pointing his gun at the direction " aw come on, Not again " Jill ran over to the button and then went on the other side of the gate with Carlos and you, as it was closing " it's me he's after-" she rolled back under to the other side of the gate and got up " hey. " 

" I'll buy you some time " she ran " hey wait! Wait. Jill! No! god dammit! " he banged on the gate while you stood quiet, he turned to you " come on dammit! " you flinched and went with him.

You were left behind while Carlos ran to find Jill.

After a few minutes they were back, you looked up and ran towards them " you guys made it! " you ran to hug them but that was interrupted when Mikhail walked up to Carlos and Jill " good work. your reputation is well deserved." he looked at Jill " Get inside, the subway is just about to leave " she walked  over to the subway but stopped " uhh.. Jill?" 

" This isn't the last ride out of town, right? " she asked, the guys turned to her when Mikhail reassured her " Do not worry. Once the civilians are safe, the trains will be back."

" That's alright, you go on ahead " he smiled " I'm not gonna die and leave you in this cold, cruel, Carlos-less world " this made you giggled, Jill smiled " okay "

Jill walked inside when you forgot something ' ah crap my gun ' you ran quickly to retrieve it then you saw something when you looked the members left so you quickly to see what it was " an infected " you spoke quietly when you went back you saw no one there " oh no, no no no no.. " you peaked and saw it was already leaving " ah no, well at least it will come back, right? " you hear it coming so you ran to find Carlos.

" Carlos!" you yelled for him but no response ' okay, where would they go? ' you left the subways and looked around ' great it had to rain ' you covered yourself ' and it's cold too' you walked to find anyone.

September 29,. 2:34 a.m - R.P.D. West Gate 

Carlos walked behind Tyrell " It's been awhile, subway's gotta be clear of the city by now " he sighed, tyrell smirked " along with your hot date? " he paused and gave him a 'serious' look " Nah, she's not like that, hell she's not like anybody. " tyrell grunts, struggling to open the gate when it finally opened.

" brad! stop! " a male yelled " T! " he motioned for him to go the other way " come on man.. " the male pointed the gun and shot a few bullets at the thing " sorry..." then he was bitten, he ran inside.

you on the other hand heard gunshots and yelling, " Carlos " you quickly ran to the police station.

The gate was locked so you climbed over and ran to the doors " crap it's locked " you tried to find a way in when you saw a parking lot with a lock " fuck it " you climbed over but fell " ah! " you grunt " ouch " you got up and went through the door that was luckily unlocked.

You made it to the lobby when you saw a man " hello" he looked at you " your that girl, the one with Jill and Carlos " you nodded quickly smiling " yes! " his smile dropped " you were suppose to be on the train " you looked down " i know but i didn't get to " he sighed " come on. I'm suppose to meet up with Carlos at the hospital.

" Is he okay? " you walked over to him " of course " with that you both head off to the hospital.
