Natsu drags me behind him as he walks up to two other people. The both look at me and I look down, blushing. One of them is a guy who has raven colored hair and blue eyes and the other is a scarlet haired female with (whatever color erzas eyes are.....).
"Hello my name is Erza Scarlet." The female says to me, she looks about the same age as me.
The male just nods at me and says, "Gray Fullbuster."
"And I'm Natsu Dragneel!!" Natsu yells right in my face, I wipe away spit and and look at them.
They're all looking at me expectantly and I blush a deeper shade of red than Erza's hair. "O-oh I'm Lucy.." I manage to keep the tremor in my voice somewhat small. I add a shaky smile for effect, they look nice... I guess.
"We were just about to go get something to eat. I take it your coming with us." The way Erza said it made me know it wasn't a question.
Before I can even say anything Natsu drags me into a nice place called Fairy Tail. The place is crowded and the only place left to sit is the bar.
Erza waves down the bartender, a beautiful woman with white hair and blue eyes. I recognize her as Mirajane Strauss from sorceror weekly.
The realization hits me like a ton of bricks, this isn't a restaurant... This is he guild I've always wanted to join.... Fairy Tail!
"Ohmygod" I mutter into my hair as I stare holes into the wooden counter.
"What was that Luce?" Natsu looks at me and leans closer, so close that I can smell his cologne, I can't help but breathe in his scent he smells like nature and the rugged scent of something I can't quit but my finger on but it gives him a dangerous and mysterious impression.
I almost don't realize that he called me Luce, when I do I look at him in bewilderment.
"How the heck did you come up with a nickname so fast???"
He just smirks in a way that makes my heart flutter, what is this?
"So Lucy are you in a guild?" Erza calmly asks me as she set her empty cake container aside, a whole one at that!
"Uhm well no but how did you know I'm a mage?"
"I saw your keys" her answer is clipped and short but I don't sense any hostility. She gets right down to business huh she's not someone I want to mess with.
"Oh I see...." I need to say it or I'm going to regret it for the rest of my life! "Well the thing is... I... I'm not in a guild because.. I really really want to join Fairy Tail!" I squeeze my eyes shut and clench my fists in my lap, I yelled it... This is so embarrassing, everyone heard it they probably all think I'm weird...
Maybe they'll let a beautiful girl off the hook and not tell anyone about this.
The whole guild was quiet as Natsu spoke, "Well..." Oh god this is it "WHY DIDNT YOU JUST SAY SO!?!?" He pounds me on the back and I look up in surprise.
"W-what?" I can't believe it.
"C'mon I'll take you to the master" he grabs my hand just as Mira walks up with my shake.
"Ah" I give Mira a 'I'm sorry' look. She just looks at us with a mischevious look in her eye. I know the rumors of her being matchmaker and I hope she's not think what I think she is....
I let Natsu drag me up a pair of stairs, I can't help but enjoy the warmth of his hand and his closeness.
Wait a hot second!!! WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING!?
I'm so lost in thought I don't realize Natsu is staring at me. I let my hand drift to my face, "Is there something on my face?"
He laughs and shakes his head, "no.. Its nothing.."
He turns and knocks on the door, a voice rings out, "come in"
He grins at me and opens the door we step in and address a short old man who I recognize as Master Makarov.
"Master, Lucy would like to join the guild."
He says, motioning to me.
Master Makarov looks at me,"what is you magic child?"
"I'm a celestial mage sir."
"Very good." He turns to Natsu "take her down to Mira to get her mark, I will be out in a minute."
Natsu turns back to me and smiles widely, "Let's go Luce!" He grabs my hand again, its unnecessary but I let it happen.
We walk up to Mira and she asks me what color I want and where. I tell her I want pink and on my right hand. She presses the stamp down on my hand I feel a wonderful tingling sensation.
I'm grinning so much my cheeks hurt, this is the best day of my life.
