Chapter 6: Tower Party, Finding the Wand, The School Adventure Starts

The next morning Harry and Draco roused, injected their morning doses, had long hot bath and dressed for the meeting with Hemmlett. Each was waiting in the hidden alcove room when Paul appeared perfectly on time.

"Here's the load," Harry said handing and letting Paul inspect each baggie full of the drugs. "You get busted and mention my name you're dead." Paul nodded.

"Without question," Paul said picking up the load and putting it into his book bag. "Give me a week and I'll give you the other half of the cash." Harry nodded and Paul left.

"Well, that was short and sweet," Draco said. "Ready for breakfast?" The pair walked together down the corridors speaking and noticing several strange looks from students at their togetherness this early and coming from the other side of the castle from either the Gryffindor Tower or the dungeons.

"You noticed that, too?" Harry asked of the stares.

"Fuck it," Draco said. "We're supposed to be doing that friendly thing anyway. My orders."

"You were very friendly last night," Harry said. "Hot damn, Draco. You have royally fucked up my head lately."

"Nice to know I can still get to you," Draco drawled.

"Shut up or I'm kissing you in the Dining Hall," Harry teased with a grin.

"You wouldn't," Draco said. Harry stopped in the hall with hands on hips.

"I wouldn't? You want to bet on that?" Harry asked with that look of pure honesty that Draco couldn't deny.

"Okay, maybe you are just a bit insane today," Draco said. "Or...well, everyday. This is Friday, you know. Party night."

"It's Hufflepuff probably," Harry said. "Would you like to come up to the Gryff common room with me tonight? There will be Ron, Herm, Seamus and Dean up in our dorm. I could bring us some butterbeers, whiskey or whatever you want to have up there. It'll be our own little party."

"Sounds good," Draco said.

"Besides, I want to show off that I've landed the sexiest piece of ass in the school," Harry said. "It's an ego thing for me."

"Oh, I completely understand now," Draco let the sarcasm flow. "I'm your toy. A plaything. Some trophy for you to show off to your little friends."

"Yeah. That's it," Harry said. "You're my trophy." Harry gave short laugh as they entered the Dining Hall and each split to go in different directions.

"I hate you, Potter," Draco called as he walked away.

"Go to hell, Malfoy," Harry yelled back as he went to sit at the breakfast table and grin at the ones who knew he didn't mean a word of it.

"What lovely sentiments," Ron said sweetly in his falsetto voice.

"What is everyone doing tonight?" Harry asked Ron, Hermione, Seamus, Dean and Neville.

"Nothing," Dean said. "I'm not going to any Hufflepuff party. They suck."

"Yeah, we could play some chess or something in the common room," Seamus said to Dean.
