---Backstage, after Winter Soldier Panel-
SEBASTIAN'S P.O.V.
I love Gwen's friend, Laurel. I really do... but damn it, I think she might actually beat out Chris for having the WORST TIMING EVER! I was so close to kissing Gwen; you could have swiped a credit card through the space that was between us. On the bright side, I did get a whiff of her perfume; she smells so good. It's mix of flowery and fruity with a little bit of spice; that's the only way I can describe its scent. No; I take that back. It's complex, just like her. The longer I'm around her, the more I'm convinced there's more to her than just what's on the surface. As we walk back to join the others, my mind returns to our almost kiss. I could practically smell what flavor her lip gloss was. What I wouldn't give to taste those luscious, full lips. Maybe it wasn't the right time? I mean I did just recover from being slammed with the realization that I almost... died. Nobody ever makes good decisions after that kind of emotional rollercoaster. It hasn't changed my mind about spending as much time with her as I can. Just the opposite. It strengthened my resolve to learn more about her.
"So, there's another meet and greet after the break?" Gwen's voice breaks the comfortable silence between us.
"Yeah. Most likely those that were at the panel will be there for pictures and autographs. Of course, you and Laurel are invited."
"We wouldn't miss it." I don't think I'll ever get tired of her smile.
We make it back to the group and the security detail takes us back down to the first-floor green room where we all have lunch. I got a chance to wash my face before we met up with everyone. We all care about each other like family; but I don't think I want them to know about how I broke down after the panel. Chris knows because he saw us and that's enough for now.
"So, how did you like your first panel?" Cobie asked Gwen. The look on her face told me that she's still coming down off that high. I arranged for Gwen to be a part of it after we said goodbye on the first day.
"That was so unreal! I still can't believe that happened." She was still awestruck by all of it. "I'm pretty sure that wasn't part of the original plan for this year's Comic Con."
"You're right; it wasn't." Emily affirmed.
"Yeah, someone pulled a lot of strings to make that happen." Scarlett put her finger on the side of her chin and feigned thinking. I knew the secret would come out; I just didn't know they'd have this much fun throwing me under the bus for it. "Hmm, I wonder who that could be?" That smirk isn't helping either. I look over and I see Gwen looking at me. I better say something, quick.
"Uhh... surprise?" I chuckle and shrug nervously.
I see Gwen let a sigh cross her lips... oh, those lips... before she chuckles.
"You didn't have to go through so much trouble, Sebastian." Gwen told me. She has no idea that I'd do absolutely anything to put a smile on her face.
"We figured they'd want to see you after they aired our interview anyway, Gwen. It was no trouble at all."
"Technically, it was." Chris interjected. He was with me when I brought up the idea with the coordinators of Comic Con. "They weren't too high on the idea, at first, but when Seb told them about you, the sky was the limit. The higher-ups basically said whatever you wanted was yours. You just had to ask."
Gwen has this look on her face like she's about to shout "NOW, he fucking tells me!"
"I wish I knew that before I bought 2 chakrams, a Master Sword and a Hylian Shield." She chuckles.
