We apparated outside of the Malfoy manor and walked through the open gate.

"We're sorry that we never told you Y/n," Cissy said.

"It's fine. I mean it's not like it would've been awkward for me and Harry when we were called for the sorting hat." I said passive-aggressively.

"Oh look, it's Algernon," as she spoke, Algernon started charging at me.

I started booking it, "You're not going to get me!" I yelled. Behind me, I heard Draco laughing at me. I flipped him off, and immediately Algernon started going faster. "Oh, shit can peacocks understand that?" I thought. "Draco stop laughing at me! The demon pigeon is attacking me and is most definitely trying to kill me!" I yelled desperately. As I was running from the demon pigeon, I saw the fountain and had an idea. I thought, "Hey why don't I jump into the fountain? The peacock doesn't hate me that much." As I was about to jump into the water, I heard a bark. I turned around and saw Atlas chasing after the peacock! "Merde!" (Fuck in French if anyone speaks French please tell me the correct translation if I got it wrong.) So, here's the thing about me, I'm not the smartest person, I mean I act like it, buuuut, I'm basically an idiot. As I was looking back, I was still running, and guess what happened next. I tripped, and by trip, I mean I probably broke my ankle, because it twisted 90 degrees. "Kerploosh!" I tripped straight into the water headfirst. I. Was. Soaked.

In heaven, everyone was having a field day. Marlene and Regulus were yelling curses and threats at Algernon. James and Lilly were sad that Y/n and Harry didn't know each other, while at the same time, thankful that Y/n had grown up in a loving home. Dorcus was eating popcorn laughing at Y/n's stupidity, and how soaked she was.

When I came up for air this was the scene I was graced with. Draco was on the ground laughing, Lucius was telling the bitch of a demon pigeon to go away, and Cissy was holding back Atlas. I climbed out of the fountain and walked up to Draco.

"Hey, idiot, you ready to stop laughing, and go eat?"

"Yeah, let's go."

We started walking towards the house, me soaking wet, leaving a trail of water behind me, and Draco dry, leaving a good three feet of distance between us. The second we got inside the house I ran upstairs to my room to change.

After I had put on a tank top, with my favorite (y/f/c(your favorite color)) zip-up sweatshirt on top, and some shorts, I went into the bathroom to brush my hair. As I started brushing my hair, I let my glamour spell fall. With my sweatshirt open, I could see all my scars in the mirror.

Flashback
I slipped out of bed, and carefully opened my door. I slipped through the opening, and as quietly I could walked down the stairs that led to my room. When I got to the hallway I immediately took a right and started running. After a few more turns I reached a statue of a witch with a hump. I tapped the hump, and a secret passage opened. I slid down the tunnel. After a few seconds the slide ended, and I started climbing up a set of stairs. I reached a trap door and pushed up with all my weight. The trap door opened up into the storage room of a shop. I climbed out, and walked through the shop, without stopping to look at anything. I had been there hundreds of times, so I knew the exact path to take even in pitch black. I stepped out into the cool summer night air. I started walking with deliberate steps towards the train that ran from the little village to Kings Cross in London. I quickly snuck onto the train and hid in the last compartment. After a while, the train reached the station, and I knew it was now or never. I quickly exited the train and ran across the platform to the brick wall. I stepped through the wall and was promptly almost hit by someone. I quickly dogged them and took off towards the exit. I ran up the steps and into the bustling city of London. I started walking with no sense of direction. Pretty soon I got tired, so I ducked into an alley to rest. I heard three sets of footsteps and thought that it was just some officers.
