I was born in a small town called Intercourse, Pennsylvania on April 19, 1991. My parents, Hugh Johnson and Ivana Fuccu-Johnson, have been my biggest supporters ever since I came out of the womb.
When I was born, the doctors said that I was blind which means you can't see. They lied. I had astigmatism. Sad. Other than that my childhood was quite normal. I moved to New York City in 2015 when I found a job opportunity working for Buzzfeed. It was a dream. And then my dreams were shat on... I mean shattered.
When I was writing an article about my astigmatism, something struck me. And it wasn't an idea. I had just taken a huge poop. In my pants. I ran to the nearest bathroom as fast as I can. It was running down my leg and it was not fun. People laughed and more than tears were running down my face.
I quit later that day.
Later that day, I went home. And it happened again! Literally right after I ate Taco Bell... it just plopped out of me like nothing. I called my doctor, Dr. Lucy Bowyls. She said that it was abnormal for that to happen and then came the most shocking news of my life. I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
I was devastated. I couldn't believe the news.
I cried for days and my boyfriend at the time broke up with me because of my loose stool. It was a bad time to say the least. I couldn't believe what my life was at the time and I went into a state of diarrhea.
Like who breaks up with someone because they pooped their pants? So uncool.
2017 comes and I am still single and I had loose stool still. Then I met a wonderful man or so I thought he was, his name was Phelan Micucci. He had dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Just like feces. It was a match made in heaven. He had IBS too.
Me and Phelan were inseparable for the longest time. We shat together, laughed together, cried together and sharted together. When he told me he had IBS, I cried. I thought I was the only one who's tootsie rolls just fell out of their pants. I wasn't!
We were IBS partners in crime. It was the best time of my life. I went from a state of diarrhea to a state of solid poop.
