Chapter 1

Sadie to the side --->

Sadie's pov

"Watch where your going loser" Tiffany yelled when I accedently bumped into her in the school hallway.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean too" I apologized hoping she would leave.

"Your such a bitch, that's probably why no one likes you" she snarled back while her friends laughed at me.

Tiffany shoved me into the lockers which hurt like hell, then left with her little minions.

'Well that's a good way to start our 17th birthday' my wolf lily said.

Now that I'm 17 I should be finding my mate but he will probably reject me anyway, I'm nothing special.

But, that's basically how my morning went, people pushing and shoving me around like nothing. I mean I'm Sadie jones the omegas daughter, the shy loner outcast.

When lunch time finally came I couldn't be more relieved. All day people have been talking about alpha Ryder coming back from his meeting trip down in Tennessee which is a long way away from California where the pack is.

I think alpha Ryder is a great alpha but he's the bad boy and the player of the school. The pack always comes first with him though. Alpha Ryder was one of my bullies. He wasn't as bad to me as everyone else though.
Which I was thankful for.

'Why haven't we found our mate yet' lily complained.

'I don't know but I hope we don't find him' I said back.

'WHAT!!! WHAT DO MEAN' she yelled

'Come on lily he's going to reject us we're nobody' I said calmly.

After I said that lily blocked me out.

"Miss jones are you going to pay attention or are you just going to keep staring at your desk" my teacher Mr.Fault said.

"Um sorry" I stuttered out.

"Freak" she random girl said as the class started laughing at me.

5 minutes later the bell finally rung. I ran out of the classroom to my locker.

"Oh Sadie there you are I need to ask you a question" my math teacher mrs. Miller said from behind me.

I turn around and notice her holding a file full of papers.

"I need you to give this to alpha Ryder for me, it's all of his work he missed when he was gone and I have a meeting with a parent. Here you go he is in the hallway beside the office door" she said then walked off.

"Oh sure i would be happy to do it'' I said sarcastically.

I began walking through the now empty hallways hoping nothing bad would happen. I rounded the corner and this amazing smell hit my like a ton of bricks.

Axe and chocolate

I looked up and found alpha Ryder staring at me with so much love in his eyes.

I made my way towards him and handed him his folder. He took it and put it in his bag then looked back at me.

'MATE! OH MY GOD FINALLY! GET CLOSER TO MATE!!!' lily yelled.

"Shit" I heard him swear under his breath. That's when I started to panic.

"I can't do this, I mean I want you. I want you so fucking bad but I can't" he said while taking a step closer to me.

"W-what do you mean?" I said.

"I mean we can't be together" he said looking sad.

"Why?" My voice cracked as tears started streaming down my face.

"Baby girl please don't cry, I have to many enemies out there who will take you from me and torture you just so they can take me down" he said while wiping my tears away.

He kissed my forehead and walked off.

I began sobbing. That was the worst thing that has ever happened to me. This was more painful then when my mom died.

Ryder's pov

I could hear her sobbing as I was leaving and it broke my heart into a million pieces. Tears started flowing down my face knowing I caused her pain. She was so beautiful and was the perfect size to cuddle with.

I got in my car and went home hoping to talk to my mom. She always had the best advice and knew I would have to reject my mate.
