The squirrel-like boy woke up confused.

He reached for his phone next to his bed to check the time once again.

'03:01'

He couldn't remember when exactly he fell asleep, but it must have been a lot earlier than usual.

After he had dozed off, cuddling his stuffed toy he basically stayed in bed the rest of the day. Apart from when he got up to heat himself up a meal in the microwave, which he also took to bed with him.

Jisung just didn't like how his house felt after he arrived back from school. A few hours after scrolling on his phone and texting Felix for a bit, he must have fallen asleep around 8p.m.

Sitting up, he started to look around. His room had even more of a weird feeling to it, now that it was dark. The longer Jisung studied the features of his room the more uncomfortable he got sitting alone inside it.

He quickly moved out from under the blanket and walked towards the light switch. Relieved when the light fludded the room, making it seem a little less creepy, Han started to walk around without a clear goal.

It would probably take him a while to fall back asleep again, so he decided to get up and look for something to do.

He wasn't really in the mood for listening to music, or trying to play around with the music program he had installed on his laptop. He didn't have any inspiration, plus he was kind of still weirded out by this feeling that remained lingering in the room, so he wouldn't be able to come up with an idea for a track anyways.

He also couldn't really talk to someone, as it's literally three in the morning on a weekday. There is no chance anyone apart from Jisung would be awake.

After a while the squirrel spent with thinking, he decided to get his things ready for the morning for once.

When Jisung had finished choosing things to wear for the day and was also almost finished packing up his bag, he stopped in his tracks when he was about close the zipper.

He reached inside his bag to pull out the notebook again. Just as he did the night before, Jisung flipped through the pages until he saw the drawing of the littel forest.

Looking at the black and white trees memories started to come back to him. Suddenly images ran through his mind, that the boy couldn't recall seeing when he was thinking about his dream in class. Jisung remembered Felix' advice and quickly sprung up to his feet.

He slammed the notebook on his desk, sat in his chair and started to write down everything that he saw flashing by when recalling last night's dream.

Reviewing the notes, he ripped out a clean page and tried to connect the pictures he described just now. He was afraid those memories were going to fade as soon as they came, if he didn't write them down quickly. Because of that the notes were very messy and kind of all over the place.

Jisung finished writing properly, so he would later on understand what he meant. Staring down at the notebook again he noticed that he didn't have anything to do anymore, but he didn't feel sleepy yet.

He got up and continued to wander around. After a few moments Jisung had the idea to go through the solid memories that remained in this house. Something like old photos, video tapes, that could maybe also help him understand his dreams.

Jisung pulled on the string to lower the small staircase, which would give him an entrance to the attic.

It hit the floor with a dull sound, while the material from the ceiling crumbled a bit from above.

Jisung took small steps towards the stairs and peeked up into the darkness. He swallowed down the anxiety building up inside him and looked down on the flashlight in his hand.
