The Café

It was Thursday when the Moonix Girls met in Michella's parents' café to study Potions for their first little test the next day. Only the time fairy had to work. But that wasn't a problem at all.

"Girls, please help me," Trisha said, "I couldn't keep up with the ingredients for the healing potion with redwood."

Michella, who brought coffee and cake at the next table, answered: "Two shavings of redwood, a spoon of crushed holly, five blossoms of the red dragonfly flower, two berries of the Pegasus bush and 100 milliliters of water from the sweet sea."

Trisha thanked her, perplexed, and Alyson teased: "You should work, Mi."

The redhead shrugged, smiled, and walked on.

Florenzia meanwhile brooded over another magic potion, even if it wasn't really the reason for her brooding. Her father had been gone for five days and her mother was starting to worry. And that spilled over to the fairy of the moon flowers.

"Do you need help?", Alyson suddenly asked and she was torn from the thoughts, "It doesn't suit you to sit over something for so long, Flo. Even if potions are not your specialty."

"I was just in thought", Florenzia admitted, "Mum is so upset that it is not easy for me to stick to the matter."

"Why is your mother upset?" Trisha asked and Alyson replied, "My father said that yours isn't coming to work because he's on a secret mission. Is that correct?"

Florenzia nodded: "The journey to his mission spot takes half a day. He said he would be back Monday night for sure. I just hope that he'll be back afterwards before Mum drives me crazy."

"If I just imagine it", Trisha dreamed, "Carry out secret missions and fight against bad villains and everyone cheers you."

Florenzia just made a derogatory noise and turned to her notes.

Trisha said quickly: "Sorry Flo. I know that it is very nerve-wracking for you every time and that somehow your father never gets thanks for it."

Florenzia sighed: "He always says, the main thing is that he gets paid, after all, he has to take care of three daughters."

Immediately she thought of the last secret mission again. Was there any trouble because he first paid for the book and then lost it? No. Now she had to concentrate on studying. Only fate would not allow her that.

"Well, Look who we have here?", Bianca's voice sounded, "The oh-so-great heroes from last Friday while studying. Apparently you need it after all."

Florenzia did not move and, not for the first time that day, wondered how she could disgust the disagreeable fairy from school.

Alyson turned to her classmate: "Hey, we didn't choose this. Or do you mean that we willingly face an unknown opponent?"

"Yes", Bianca answered straight out, "Everyone wants to be like the Winx now."

Florenzia flipped to the next page of her notes and imagined a small plant wrapped around the girl's left foot. Then she put a hand under the table and flicked.

Trisha replied, "I like to admit that I think a famous club like Winx would be really cool. Who doesn't want to be adored by everyone and have their best friends around them?"

Immediately, Florenzia answered without looking up from her notes: "I love you, but if you become famous, you will never see me again."

"But you really wanted to fight," said Bianca with a grin.
