4 - "Maccies and compliments"

-ABBY'S POV-

It's ‪7 am‬ the alarm doesn't stop ringing but I just don't want to get out of bed, I'm too tired.; I then remember that I have to go to the uni so I finally get up and get ready.

I wait for the brown-haired and brown-eyed girl Bianca to be ready too and then we go out of the house and get in Julia's car, that as always is taking all of us to the school, she studies psychology with us.

While we are going to the class Bianca says to me " You did your make-up, you never do that when you wake up this early",

Julia adds " that's true, most of the time you never do that when you have to work, you're also really well dressed...we are expecting someone to come to the bar, aren't we?",

I replay laughing nervously "girls stop it, I don't know if Andy is coming, he will for sure have something better to do, also are you saying that I looked ugly so far?!"

"No love you're always beautiful,but you wish he will come,am I wrong?" Bianca says, "You two know me well, I don't have to answer that and thank you love..Now let's go to the class" I replay, "okay okay, as you want" Julia says laughing and then we all go to the lesson.

I have to admit that I didn't pay too much attention, I was constantly thinking about what will happen or not, but however the lessons ended.

Now me and Julia are having lunch at Starbucks, just two salads before we go to work.

I am pretty anxious actually but I have a feeling that he will not be there today so I just have to calm myself and concentrate on the clients, our boss will be here today and he gets angry really easily.

This is exactly how most of the day goes, me and Julia serving clients, being scolded whenever we will laugh or just talk with each other.

It's always like that when Chris is here: he's not a bad person, he just has a problem controlling his anger and I have to admit that sometimes he gets quite scary, but I need this job and the money to pay the rent, the uni and everything, so till I find something better I have to get through it.

He's absent most of the time anyway, Julia or I am supposed to close the bar. That's what will happen today too.

It's almost 9pm, during the week we close between ‪9:30/10 pm and Chriss is leaving the bar, all the clients were gone too,there is just a couple of guys at a table,  so we can finally relax for a bit.

I check my phone and I see a message on Insta and it's from Andy:

Fovvs: <<Hey beautiful I'm sorry but I couldn't come to the bar today, really wanted to tho, did you have dinner btw?>>

Abby: <<Hey it's okay, don't worry... I'm actually starving, but I'll go home soon so I can finally eat, wby?>>

Fovvs: <<I can come to pick you up and we'll grab some maccies if you want, how does it sound?>>

I leave him on seen for a second to tell that to Julia, she knows how much I hate going on a date, it just makes me so damn anxious...

I then hear another notification from Andy that says: << just a chill thing, nothing special, we're both hungry and I can drop you off...>>

With that Julia tells me "I'm sure that he will make you feel comfortable, just go and see what happens, it's nothing serious, he said that too, go and enjoy it"

So I decided to trust her and still anxious as hell I replay to Andy:

Abby: << I've really not eaten MC's food in a while, so I'm okay for that, be out in 20 mins I guess>>
