on my own

i waited on the bus for hours. Different people sat next to me but i did not pay attention to any of it, i just stood staring at the sceneries that just passed by not even focused on them either, and what seemed like hours later i finally reached my new home, i found a hotel just a little ways further than the bus stations and stayed there for a few months till i finally got a roommate and thats how i spent my 15 years living by myself i also wrote a few books and got them published i lived a simple life and that was how i wanted it ...

a few moths later 

i just finished up my shift at the dinner and was ready to go home, i picked up a coffee and a donut and took a seat at the bench before i went home, the bell rang at the entrance door and in came a man who sat beside me he was an old man wrinkled but you could tell he'd been through a lot through his eyes they where saddened

" i"m sorry" was all he said and left picking up his coffee and leaving a note i picked up the note and read who it was for in hopes i could give it too them

i ran outside in order to find the man but when i looked he was gone

so i walked home by my lonesome, dropped my keys in a bowl and went upstairs and fell on my bed my room mate was out anyway so i was home by myself when i got up i looked to the floor at the note that fell out of my pocket i picked it up my hands shaking and i read

dear Jessica

i would say darling daughter but during our last encounter we weren't on pretty good terms with you being referred to as my daughter i want to say i'm sorry and boy you look beautiful, your mum well step mom if you wanna put it that way is gone i realised that when you left you where the only girl i wanted in my life. I had no idea of how much you meant to me and well as time has gone by i thought that my age really got to me i'm all old and crippled now serves me right, but i just wanted to ask if you could come visit me because i know its about my time to go and i wouldn't be a happy man dyeing if i didn't see your beautiful face an to tell you how sorry i am
