Jess pov

I had the best day yesterday Jace came over and we played games and Jace admired my bon jovi poster I could not believe he liked it I always thought he was the stuck up boy into the new stuff and I didn’t want to mope around all day so I asked mom if I could go to school.

"Mum can I got to school" I asked 

“Jess I know you want to go to school and do work and stuff but you have to stay home you never know where he is,” she replied holding my shoulder.

“yeah mum that’s right I don’t know he could be in this house right now in my room for all I know, you know what I don’t care anymore I’m going to school whether you like it or not,” I said crossing my arms and marching up the stairs I then grabbed my bag and left the house and started walking.

I was half way to Rashelle’s house when I glimpsed at a guy behind with a hoodie on, so I started walking a little faster not enough that he would notice but enough so that if I had to run I could and far then I heard an engine come round and saw it was Jace’s car and his car slowed down beside me while the guy slipped in between the bushes.

  

“Hey jess coming to school today, need a ride,” he asked

“Yes I am and I do need a ride” I replied “thanks” I continued getting in the car and I turned around making sure I did not see the guy from the bushes and sighed I couldn’t see him

“So” said Jace “you want to pick up your best friend before school” he asked

“If you could thanks” I replied I then reached for the first cd in Jace’s compartment and played it bon jovi wanted dead or alive played loud through the speakers

“So what was that about yesterday if you don’t want to talk about it I understand I just want to know!” he yelled over the music I then turned down the music ant started talking

“Um… it happened last year, I was walking home when I was kidnaped by this guy in the street and I was taken to his house and he did awful stuff to me” I said crying coming out in sobs Jace placed one hand on mine and hugged me

“What are you doing your driving…oh” I said when I realised we were parked in front of Rashelle’s house and just as Rashelle walked out I wiped my eyes and waved at her and screamed out her name she turned around and saw me in Jace’s car and her face expression told me I’d answer a lot of questions

“Come on we got a ride” I said waving my hand towards the window of the car

“What change of attitude girl you riding with the boys now” she said seating herself at the back

“No it’s just a onetime thing” I say as we started off 

“Aww come one” replies Jace looking all puppy eyed on me

“Watch the road!” I say turning the steering wheel over so we did not hit the car driving past the car I almost freak out and tell Jace to go faster and we’ve past the car having enough distance away I lean back and close my eyes

“What was that about” I was shivering in the seat              

“Just drive please” I whispered

We entered the school silently not saying anything I knew I’d have to answer for it later but I didn’t feel like it now and I went through the normal routine class to class and I was pretty out of it so I didn’t do anything.

“Jessica summers to the office” the announcement said and I imminently got up and left passing by the student who snickered at me, turning the door to the office I walked in the principle was seated on the chair and over siting on the cushioned chair was someone I dreaded to see.

I was ready to turn back now but I couldn’t I did not want to show my fear. Mr Brown showed me to a seat near the man, I stole a quick glance at the guy and saw that he was staring with a grin on his face

I’m dead I thought to myself I at least want roses on my grave and a beautiful description and don’t forget to quote hunger games on the plague pleas...

"Miss summers!" I was pulled out of my thoughts by my teacher "this man claims you almost crashed into his car and spoke foul language to him you know this can be reported and I do not wish to have one of my students cast down the motto of this school " I gulped I could be expelled right now 

"Now jess we will be able to put this all behind us if you help this man he asks for your presence helping with the lawn and cleaning" he said. Taking a glance at the other I saw a grin form on his lips he was not going to see me there...
