Jace pov

I felt rejected when she ran I knew she wanted me because she kissed me back but I didn’t know what came on to her, I really did like her.

I wondered why she wouldn’t accept me and I texted her asking her if she was okay and when she didn’t text back I decide to go to her house, I rang the doorbell and her mother answered the door.

“Is jess around,” I asked

“LEAVE YOU YOU’VE JUST SIGHNED MY DAUGHTER HER DEATH NOW GO.” She screamed 

I didn’t know what she meant by that and I wanted to ask but the door was slammed my face so I decided to ask jess at school 

Then next day she wasn’t at school and the day after that for the whole week basically and I decided to see her for myself and I climbed up the fence at her house and went up the tree I went to her window and knocked on it

“hey jess,” I asked knocking again I heard some shuffling and she peaked through the window and at that moment I almost jumped back her face was pale and her eyes were red, she was in a robe and didn’t look good she closed the blind and I thought she would go back to her bed so I decided to go down but she opened the window

“What are you doing here?” she whispered

“I came to see if you were alright I tried texting but you didn’t reply so I came to see you,” I said and I thought about what her mom said and I decided to ask jess

“Hey jess you mom said when I was talking to her that I sighed your death what did she mean.” I asked and she started to cry I tried to comfort her but the tree was a bit too far for me to reach her window. Instead I said “sorry.”

"No its okay I just need some time to myself," she said wipeing away her tears "hey do you want to come in she gestured to the window.

I did realised that it was cold outside, but the funny thing was i didn’t know how to get in and i looked at her with a questioning look. She shook her head at me and picked up a plank of wood and passed it over.

I let it drop on the branch and tested how safe it was, she just shook her head at me to say as if I didn’t even trust her and I got up walking along the plank then reaching to her window coming in, picking up the plank and placing it beside the window seat.

I had never looked around her room before and was amazed at what she had and when my eyes fell on the bon Jovi poster I stared in awe she had the same one as me limited edition I could not believe this girl it was like she surprised me every second.

“How did you get that,” I said practically drooling in front of it she then laughed at me and it was a cute laugh

“I got it when my dad was helping bon Jovi make a book on his carrier,” she smiled siting on her bed I remember reading that book and It did not cross my mind that he father Jamie summers wrote it.

“did you want to play a board game,” she said picking out games form her cupboard we then decided on monopoly and I basically lost all my houses to her then giving up, spending the whole day with her till her mom came home and I had to go to my home as well. 

I did skip school that day but I did not care I just wanted to know.
