Somewhere in Wakanda Anne, Bucky, and Steve sit in a medical facility. Anne sits next to Bucky, sitting her head on the shoulder where is metal arm once was.
"You sure about this?" Steve asks him.
"I can't trust my own mind. So, until they figure out how to get this stuff out of my head I think going back under is the best thing . . . for everybody." Bucky states.
Steve walks away allowing Anne and Bucky to have a moment alone.
"You remember on the jet how you said my dog tags made you feel close to me?" Bucky asks her.
"Yes, why?" She asks
He holds out his hand and gives Anne something. The dog tags.
"I won't be with you for a while..." He starts
"...But you will always be with me." She finishes and looks at him. "Thank you."
He stares at her for a while before pulling her into a kiss. It was a short but sweet kiss. Anne breaks it.
"That was nice." She says.
"Mr. Barnes, are you ready?" A woman interrupts them.
He nods his head but looks back at Anne.
"I love you, Annie." He says and walks to a cryo chamber.
"I love you too, Bucky." Anne says back.
Anne and Steve watch him as he is frozen once more. After he is frozen they stand staring through a window. T'Challa walks towards them.
"Thank you for all of this." Anne says.
"Your friend and my father, they were both victims. If I can help one of them find peace..." T'Challa says.
"You know, If they find out he's here . . . they'll come for him." Steve states.
"Let them try."
