Henry's P.O.V:
Me and Ellie had walked into the school, trembling.
Inside, it was old and reminded me of old towers and houses in the UK.
We watched as students walked up a tall tower of stairs to the 3rd floor (there were about 6 in all).
Me and Ellie waited till everyone had left.
We both were tried, so we decided it was best to just teleport to the 3rd floor.
I looked at here and she nodded.
We both closed our eyes, then quickly opened them, pitch black and alien looking.
Just then, one of the long poles holding up the stairs had broken right inn front of us.
I blinked again and signed to Ellie, {What the fuck, Ell?!}
"Sorry, I guess I got a little carried away," she said back while smiling innocently.
We sat there staring at each other. Then we burst out laughing. I guess the situation was funny anyways.
But then, we heard a scream from above us.
Some dude had fallen from the stairs and was hanging on for dear life.
He screamed, "Help! Someone help me!"
I looked at Ellie and she nodded at me.
"I'm slipping!!"
"We're gonna help!," Ellie screamed, "Let go, and Henry will catch you!"
"How do I know I can trust- GAH!"
He had slipped and I had quickly blinked and my pitch black eyes started leaking ink as I caught this dude in mid air.
"Henry!," Ellie exclaimed, "You know you can't use your powers in front of normals!"
{I had no choice!} I signed. {No way I'm letting a good soul die in a shithole like this.}
We both ran over to see how he was doing.
"Are you okay?," Ellie asked.
"Y-yeah I am.."
"Good," she said, "I'm Ellie and this is Henry."
"Why are you wearing a bow?"
{I'm transgender. I feel more female than male.}
"I don't speak hands," he said.
"Oh, sorry. He said he's a transgender male, which means he feels more female than male," Ellie said.
"Oh, okay! Nice to meet you guys. I'm Dave!"
"That's cool. So uh, you wont tell anyone about our powers right?"
He nodded. "Something you guys should know about me is that well..."
He lit a fire right in front of us.
Me and Ellie were shocked.
"He's one of us?," she said.
Dave nodded.
"I don't use my powers much, unless it's to get people away from me when I'm getting bullied," he said.
"Sorry about that..."
"It's fine!"
We all kept chatting it up while we walked up the broken stairs carefully.
Dave is a cool dude, not going to lie.
He's just shy is all..
