One year later...
"Who is she?.... Kacey, why does she keep appearing in your dreams?" The man crossed his legs and looked back at the yellow notepad
"Huh. Oh Aiyah ... Her name was Aiyah... This summer fling Kamden had a summer ago. It was me, Kam, Kiyah....." There was a long pause before Kacey continued, "Kei'jare And Kristina..."
"You seem distributed. I keep forgetting y'all gotta lot of K's in your family." The dark-skinned man dressed in a black and white suit, classy, "We been making steady progress with you, let me help Kacey." The man uncrossed his legs. Leaning back in the chair, Kacey sighs.
"Well Dr. Debourah, I guess I'll start with the beginning. It was in Yellow Bay City, reason, why we're banned from there, is because of the fire. Burning the whole mayor's building down. Killing my sister, Kristina, and the mayor's daughter, Ivonah... and Aiyah was also one of those individuals killed in the fire... The fire killed 8 other people. My sister, Ivonah, Aiyah included. Everyone blames my siblings and me and started an outrage. Mayor eventually had us overall banned from the entire city as a whole. The next two months were hell for us. Then Kei'jare was murdered. So now I lost both my older siblings within 2 months. Hmmm ahh. That's hard. Sometimes he doesn't feel dead like I can feel him. I see him sometimes, I will be hallucinating, but they feel really like he's there in the same room. I mean it affected the rest of my siblings but I just couldn't fake it so I left. I went to my aunt's house in New Port, Ovelia. For the rest of the year cut, I off all communication from my friends, family, except you because I had to talk to you. I just left. And for almost a year. But now I'm back. Start of my senior year. Hoping things will be better."
Kacey puts both hands on his face and slides them slowly down. His right hand started to shake. He grabs it and started to rub it on the backhand. "Why your hand quivers as such?" Dr. Debourah spoke in concern. Puzzled he was. "I just get shaken up sometimes. My anxiety you know." Kacey replied. Kacey sat back in the chair, still rubbing his hand. "Here are some pills that should help for your hands and shaken problem, and come by later today. I can prescribe you some pills these same pills, try them out first to see if they have been working, how they make you feel. These illusions, visions. It's probably a statement of how u haven't been able to move on from your brother's death and forgive yourself, you have created this person to where you he won't allow u to move on. It's all psychological. Wait, Don't you have school speaking of? How do you think your first day back at your old school gonna go, you haven't been there in a year."
Kacey has curly hair slicked back into a bun, brown eyes, light brown skin, was 6'1", and had ear piercings. He started playing with his ear and spoke, "I'll stop by on my off period towards the end of the school day I guess. But I don't know I haven't seen my friends since I've been back. I just got back last night around 1 am. So u can say this morning. However, I haven't spoken to my family either I woke up and came straight here. Hey by the way, what time is it?" He grabbed his black iPhone 12 and turned it on. as the phone brightened his face the big numbers popped up on the screen; 6:20 am. "Oh shit, I gotta go Doc, I got to practice and I'm going be late, I'll swing by later." He grabbed all stuff and rushed out the door.

"He's late again..." Kiyah said to Kamden. Kiyah and Kamden were Kacey's little sister and brother. Kiyah was 16 and Kamden was 17. Kiyah was so beautiful, a Goddess beautiful. She was 5 feet with long curly brown hair, light skin beautiful clear skin, lightest out of all the siblings, she was kind and pure-hearted, with a soft gentle soul. And as for Kamden he was 6 foot even with shoulder-length dreads with one blonde and red dread hanging in front of his face. The rest was put up into a bun. He wore a mean look. And wore black clothes the majority of the time. You can say he was rough around the edges.
"I'm dead. Boy Scout I guess has some flaws. Father is not gone like this."
"Cut him some slack Kam." She shrugged his shoulder. Kamden and Kiyah were in their huge backyard, sitting on the bottom step on the patio. They also had a huge patio. The backyard was big enough to have a whole other house in the back of it. Kacey came through the side gate. "I'm here, I'm here." He yells out-breath. The sliding door opens and comes walking out a big buff mid 40's year old man in an all-black and white suit. He had three rings on his right hand. Kamden and Kiyah turned around and stood up. As they faced the man. "Kacey. You are late. 1 hour and 45 minutes late. To be exact." The man spoke in a commanding deep voice All three of the kids kneeled. With their head down. "I now understand completely son, you're getting back into the motions. However, you're 18 years of age and I know you know how to tell time. You have a phone watch and all the damn technology you kids have nowadays." Kamden and Kiyah giggled. The father's eyes looked down at them both. As they both stopped being they can feel the stare of their father. He walked down the 16 steps as the kids got up from their knell. He looked out onto the ground. It had a court-like feel as the father would have the kids fight each other. "Son you have to be a leader. Rather they admit it or not they look up to you. You guys already know the consequences of tardiness. Kacey, Kamden let's go Hakai. Now!"
The father walked down the steps as the boys followed him. Kiyah remained on the porch. And say the top of the steps. "Get in position!" The father yelled at Kamden and Kacey. He also grabbed wooden swords and made them stand 10 feet from each other. Everything went silent, all you can hear was the wind below and the air running across the face of the family. "Matter of fact. I want you two. To fight together. Against me." The father took off his black coat and threw it over to Kiyah as she caught it. Rolling up his sleeves and utter, "Now boys, show me what y'all can do." Holding his arms out, giving them an invite. They charged at him, both throwing a fist and kicks, as he blocks every last one of their hits. He grabs their arms throw into each other and kick them onto the ground. "Come on boys is that all you have?" He put both his arms up hands both out, a smile slowly emerges on his face. His eyes started to glow red.
The boys slowly try to get up 40 inches away from the father.  "Oh my fucking God what the hell are you doing Boy Scout." They kneeled on one knee side by side. "You're getting your ass handed to you too. We need to work together." Kamden side-eyed Kacey. "I don't need your help. Stay out of my way." He went and ran towards his father leaving Kacey still kneeling. "Are you kidding me this dude?" He went and ran behind him. Kam went for a punch. The father blocked it. Grabbed his arm, flipped over, slams him on the ground. Kacey threw down a punch at his head, he grabbed his fist. Kacey then kicked his leg towards his face. With the other arm, he stops it in its track. He grabs the leg and throws him 20 yards away. Kam got back up and knees his father in the side. He falls on his backside. "Good cheap shot boy." Pulling out two and threw them at Kam while pulling a blue retractable sword as he went charging full flesh at his son. Picking up one sword he starts dueling his father. Barely hanging on as the son was only on defense while not creating any offense. Blocking almost every strike. With almost a moment he steps into Kam, placing his right foot in-between his legs as he stumbles, and drops the sword as it slides in front of Kacey. The slices Kam's chest leave a cut in his shirt following a cut on his chest. "AHHH!" He yells. Kacey looked up and his eyes started to shift and turn blue. Rushing Kacey picks up the sword. As the father holding the sword down to lung it into his son. Swooping in to save his brother.
Pushing his father as it was just Kacey in his father staring at each other locking each other's brown eyes. The farther back towards the porch. And Kacey back toward the woods. Gripping the swords they two as all eyes were shifted towards this showdown. The sweat dripped down Kacey's forehead. A grin formed. Running full speed they both clashed swords. One not backing down, each other both on offense trying to get the upper hand. Eyes were glowing red and anticipation started to rise as Kacey started to hold his own.
The father dropped down sliding his leg up under Kacey trying to take him down. Taking his legs he completes his move falling in mid-air the father gets up all in one spinning motion and kicks Kacey sending him yards away on the battlefield field. A disappointed but unsure look now greeted the father's face.
The rain started to drizzle down upon the fighters. Both songs were on the ground and the last remaining fighter was the father. His sword was able to transform and change shape into a wristband. To where he'll never be unarmed.
A woman slowly walks out, a brown-skinned, beautiful woman. "Are you okay baby girl?" Exhausted she replies, "I'm fine mother, thank you I'm just watching dad beat the purple snot out of Kace and Kam." The mother looked out upon the boys on the ground, and she shook her head, "That's enough training for the day, everyone gets cleaned up, I've made breakfast and you kids have a school within the hour. And it's raining let's go u, stinky males."
The father and Kacey slowly walk over grabs Kam off the ground, Kacey and the father both reached out their hand. Kam smacks Kacey's hand. "Thank you for that honey.  guess there's a lot more you need to learn after all. The first lesson is teamwork. You guys are family brothers one is not better than the other. You guys need to work together. Kam you can not let your defender get the upper hand like that on you. You will be killed within seconds, I trained you boys to be the best so you can defend this family you guys need a shape up, I may be grandmaster but I will not always be here to save you guys. But you guys heard mother go get cleaned up." The father gave them a nod as he left the boys and he headed up the porch. "Boy Scout. Word of advice, I don't need your help, nor do I need you to save me. This is no family reunion. We are not peaches and cream. You still left us high and dry and I won't forgive u for that. For all, I care you can go back to whatever." Kacey replied, "Didn't you just hear him say, teamwork dude." Kam Bumps into Kacey's shoulder as he leaves him left there standing alone. "Go back to whatever hole you came from."
                                          £
Hot dripping water fell upon Kacey's body. Water filled covered every inch of the room. Leaving nothing uncovered. Eyes closed he whipped his face while under the slightly scorching hot water. He reached down to the silver knob with a red litter H on and turned it as the water decimates. Pulling the black and clear shower curtains back he grabs the towel off the bathroom sink. He starts to dry every inch of his body. He starts to dry and whip his face as he sighs.
He finally puts on his clothes, however, he doesn't have a shirt on. Realizing he left it in his room. The lights start to flicker. As he slowly looks up from the towel. Looking over at the shower, his right hand started to shake. "No. No. No." He said in a rush. Wrapping the towel around his waist. He reaches for the door handle as the light completely shuts off and the temper drops as he can see his breath coming out his mouth. "Kacey. Why weren't you there." The voice was creepy, whispering, and had a creek in it. Kacey afraid to turn around kept his head facing towards the door, reaching for the door handle. He tried turning it as it was locked. And wasn't turning. "No, you're not real." The voice laughs. "I am very much real." Placed a hand on Kacey's shoulder. Turning him around fast as he can see the pale corpse of his brother. His eyes are grey-blue. Lips are stale and cold blue.
Playing his dead hands around Kacey's neck. Reaching for the door twisting faster and faster. "Tik Tok. Tik Tok." The Deceased uttered. He started to squeeze tighter and tighter. Starting to can't breathe as his throat crushes him.
Finally getting the door open Kacey runs out and bums into Kyiah wearing black ripped jeans, a black Apolloo shirt, and some black and white vans. "Hey. You ok?" She questioned. Kacey short breathe. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I couldn't get the door handle unlocked." He replied, the puzzled face she shared. "Kace your out of breath you sure?" They both headed towards his room as she sat facing the door at the end of the bed. "Yeah, I'm ok Kyiah."
"Hey, anyways I was trynna come and I. Ah. can we talk? I can't talk to Kam he's overprotective and dad stays busy. I don't know lately home has felt like home. And since u been back it's been better but something just feels missing." Full dressed -ripped black jeans, a white hoodie shirt, and white Apolloo shoes- Kacey came and sat right alongside his baby sister. "It's the cause of Friday that's all. We're gonna be ok." Running her hands through her hair. She smiles. "Are you serious it's raining outside and you finna wear a white shirt?" She asked. He looks down gets back up and went to his closet. "It's boy drama. Like I'm scared really scared. And you're the more calm one so I don't know how to explain it. It's hard like I want to tell him something important but I don't know how it'll go." Changing his shirt black as he came to sit back alongside her. She places her head on his shoulder. A clear wet tear slowly slid down her eye. Still with a slight smile on her beautiful face. " I get what you mean, it's not easy in the slightest but just speak from the heart you know and if he not fucking with it then it's not meant to be. Follow your heart. Trust your gut and intuition. Most of the time it's always right." He places his arm around her shoulder pulling her in closer. "I don't know Kace." They both got up. And headed out his door. "Trust me."
Both walk downstairs of the big mansion, beach house type of place. It was a big place, 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms. They finally got to the kitchen as it was right by the front door. As the father and mother were standing side by side with each other in front of the sink Kamden was sitting on the counter.
"Okay, Glad we are all here, I just wanna say welcome home Kacey one. Glad our family is all back together. And even though I and your mother are gonna be gone for the next two and a half days we'll still make it on time to the remembrance for Kei. And with that being said Kacey you are in charge. No parties. Please don't mess up the house and no one please no trouble. I do not want to have to pay for anything. We're wealthy but money does not grow on tress kids. I and your mother have headed out you kids behave and we love you guys."
On their way out they gave each one of them a hug, and the mother placed a kiss on the forehead as they exited out the door. When she got to Kam she pointed a finger at him, "Hey play nice. We still need you guys alive." He smiled at her.
Outside had a misty feel. Very cool air And a light rain drizzle. It always rained in the small town of Serina. Population 3,789. Only 3 high schools, 4 middle schools, and 3 elementary schools. So everyone knew just about everyone.
The kids stood on their front pouch as their sight was a huge driveway and front lawn. Their house was so far from everyone else's. It was on its island, a huge brownish-black house, with the next house, was for another 12 minutes. The house was also gated with multiple secret entrances. There is a big old concrete grayish-brown dolphin water fountain in the middle of the driveway.
They watched the father and mother dressed in former attire get into the back of a black-on-black SUV as large men opened the door for them. Proceed to get in the front seat. The gate opened as they pulled off in rain and the gates remained open.
Kamden and Kiyah proceeded to go to the black-on-black Dodge Challenger. Both of them seemed to be matching as they both had on black jackets and black jeans. He just had on some black Jordan's. With keys in his right hand, he auto-started the car as the lion's roar bellowed out into the wind. "I thought y'all rode the bus?" Kacey asked them. Kamden laughed entering the driver's side. "There's a lot you don't know Boy Scout. Aye but welcome home." Starting the car and speeding off out the gates, you can hear the tires screeching on the pavement.
Kacey's phone rang out of his pocket as it was his therapist's name on the caller Id. Swiping the green icon. He answers and puts it on speaker. "Hey, doc wassup?" He asked. "Hey I got the prescription and I'm going to be gone for the day I'm feeling a little bit under the weather. But I'll be in the office tomorrow if you want to come by then?" He spoke out the phone. "Ah yeah. That's cool tomorrow. I only got three pills in here so I think it'll last me till tomorrow." The doctor chuckled, "You only need to take two today, we don't want you overdoing it. I'm getting out of here my dear boy. Have a great day. Oh give me a sec, excuse me may I help you?" The phone hung up. Leaving just Kacey standing as he is yet alone.
