a Beautiful Soul (a short story) COMPLETED

Chapter 1

Year 2012

It's the 1st of February. Dave just woke up from a long dreamless sleep when his alarm clock started to ring. He quickly turned it off and gently open his eyes. He's still half asleep but managed to get up for he has a work to attend. He brushed his hair and look at the mirror before going down to have his breakfast. He look at the refrigerator and took the carton of milk, which is the only food available in his fridge. His pay should arrive today because he's running out of supply. He took a bread and spread some mayonaise in it.

Dave works as a private school teacher for 3 years now. He is 24 years old and lives alone in an apartment near school. His school is just walking distance from home. Although he is average looking, many students and his co-teachers as well found him gorgeous. He is a gentleman and really nice that's why he's attractive and many girls has a crush on him.

He quickly dressed for school, greeted his neighbors along the way.

While walking, he saw a weird girl just standing in the corner not reacting or moving, she's just staring blankly into the wild. The girl is pretty. Maybe the same age as him. Then, the girl stared at him. He stared back but he quickly removed his glance and continue walking. The girl was shocked and from his peripheral vision, he saw the girl running towards her. "What's up with this girl? Is he going after me?" Dave thought on his mind. 

After a few walks, he reached the school and went to the faculty office.

"Good Morning, Dave!" greeted by his co-teacher Jelly.

"Good morning too, Jelly!" Dave replied

He went to his desk, fixed his table and opened his laptop. He's 30 minutes early before the start of the first period. From his laptop, he saw the weird girl in the street. She moved her way towards him and whispered something to his ear.

"I'll talk to you later, in your house when no one can see us" whispered the girl

He felt cold.

"Hey Miss, What do you need from me?" Dave said

The girl just smiled at him and walked away from him.

She's so weird, is she crazy? he muttered.

"Hey Dave, why are you blushing?" asked Ramon his co-teacher

"I am? Oh, I don't know. It's just cold I think"

"Is it because of a girl Dave?"

"Uhm, No. It's nothing. I have a class, I'll see you later" Dave said

His class went smoothly and he chilled for an hour because his next class will be after lunch.

"Uhm, Ramon, have you seen a girl, around 23-25 years old, slightly tall, long straight hair up to her waist. Pretty and has a good body. She was here before the first period and I just wanted to ask if you know her or saw her?"

"I don't know. I didn't see anyone because if I saw that girl I have her mobile number right now."

"Ahh. Okay."

He went home 4:30 pm and haven't thought of the weird girl.
