Chapter 4

Dayenne's POV

So.... I'm here right now, in front of his door, but I don't have plans on using that. I think I'm gonna use the wall so I can pass through the televesion. I ran and went through the wall, and just what I'm expecting, I made an impact, Dave almost dropped his jaw.

"Hello Dave! How's my dramatic entrance? I hope I didn't scare you" I said happily. I'm really excited to see and talk to him

"I ALMOST GOT A HEART ATTACK!!!!" Dave said with sweat all over his face

"Oooppps, I'm Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you I just wanted a good entrance, just so you know I'm here." I said sincerely

"You know what, I don't care.. I DON''T CARE!! 'Why are you back? I don't want any connections with you. Go find someone to mess around." Dave said still shocked.

"I will not leave you! I already found you. I've been searching for 6 years!" I said

"You're a ghost! And I won't have a ghost as a friend!"

"I told you I'm not a ghost! I'm a soul! I'm a bodiless spirit. I'm not DEAD!! You see, when I entered here, I made an impact??? Okay, so can you just hear my story??? Please???" I said begging

"Okay. Okay. Even if I don't want to hear it, seems like I don't have a choice" he said defeated

"Are you calm now?" I asked

"Start!" he just said

"Well I have this thing, it was sort of a talent and it was very rare. I don't know anyone who could do this. When I was 9 years old, I started to train taekwondo. That was the time I discovered the talent. During one of my fight, I was losing. My oppenent was very strong. I got so desperate because I wanted to win. Then, I gave my soul into one last kick. I kicked her really hard and I went through her body! I don't know what happened but I swear my soul detached to my body for a second. I felt the impact, there's some sort of energy in my kick, I defeated my opponent, I hit her in the right side of her body, though she got protecting gears, she was knocked out and got hospitalized for a week. Her ribs were broken."

"I didn't see the point, hows that related to you being a ghost right now?" Dave said

"I told my father about it, I said it was my soul that knocked out my opponenet. He didn't believe me of course. Then, one night I said, I said I will try to do that again. That was the start. I learned how to detached my soul into my body. I got so excited and I did it every night. I found that, I cannot last an hour away from my body, because my body will die. I became very careful with it. Then, I learned how to get into someone else's body."

"So, how do you that? Going away with your body?" Dave asked with curiosity

"I don't know, it just happens when I want to"

"What about going into someone else's body?"

"Just like what I do, when I want to return in my body, but I can't also last an hour, I only discovered that 5 years ago, when I already lost my body. I tried to use other people's body, I got their memory but I am the one controlling it, then, I discovered the more I stay on their body, the more the original owner is vanishing. I don't want to steal their body that's why I didn't do it again. My original hair was actually curly, but the last body I borrowed has this hair I lasted for about 40 minutes then when I left the body, I got her hair. Since I am a spirit, I'm like a water. I adopt the shape and features of the body I use. I don't want to lose my original appearance. If I want to connect to the world, I only have 10 minutes per body."

"How did you lose your body?" Dave asked curiously.

"Okay, that's the sad part... I just went home from work, then a man, grabbed me from behind. He stabbed me with a knife on my leg that I wasn't able to put a fight. I felt so weak, he brought me to a dark place then he raped me. I can't fight back, I'm losing a lot of blood, I just.. felt so bad. Then, I can't take it anymore. I left my body. Just after I left my body, he stabbed me again with his knife. I was so angry!! I wanna kill him. He left my poor bloody body!! I tried to return, but I can't do it. My body died! I was left alone! I am really mad! But I can't cry. I have a wonderful life! I am very happy, and I'M GETTING MARRIED Poor me, I was so excited with my marriage, I'm not even done celebrating my engagement!!"

I feel like crying but of course I can't do that. Crying is for someone who has a body. But I do felt sadness as I recalled my story.

"I'm sorry! It must have been so hard for you" he said

"The saddest part is, when I exists but I am not living. I don't have a life, I want my life back but I can't return, my family, my friends, and my boyfriend grieve for my death. I died!"

Dave's POV

Poor girl! How could a guy do that to a lady this beautiful? That guy should be hanged! Whoever he is.

"Dayenne, did they catch the guy who do that to you?" I asked

"NO! Theres no witness. All I remember was that the guy has a sun tattoo on his left hand. I wanna find him! and let him pay for what he did to me!"

I move towards her. I wanna comfort her, and help her. I touched her shoulder.

"Oh, I can't touch you but I can feel you" I said

"Yes! Even though i'm in this form you could still feel my presence." she said

"I wanna help you"

"Thank you!" she said smiling.

" What do you need to do?" I asked

"I want to go to my parents first, can you come with me?" she said

"Sure" I smiled.

"Would you mind if I stay here? I'm not going to disturb you or anything I will just stay here in the sofa. I haven't got any company for so long." she said

"No problem with me, but will you excuse me I have to sleep, can I make a request? Please don't peak at my room when I'm sleeping. Can you promise that?" I said pleading. Of course, I still needs privacy.

"Of course! I promise!" she said raising her right hand.

"Good night! I'll see you tomorrow" I said

"Indeed it's a good night in 6 years, thank you very much! Good night and sleep tight" she said smiling

I smiled back..
