Elena's POV
We we're walking down a huge flight of stairs when Eric started talking to us again. I wasn't really listening, that is until I heard him say something about Hayes.
"Where's the boy?", he repeated, worried.
I looked around and noticed Hayes wasn't there. Did he sneak away? Where did he go? Ohhh dear, this is not good. Eric decided to continue leading us down the stairs, then find Hayes. When we finally reached the end of the stairs, there were three hallways awaiting us. We took the third one on the right. After many, many doors, we stopped at the only wooden door in the hallway. It was labeled 'BASEMENT'. We opened the door, only to find another hallway. Suddenly, Eric covered his face with what seemed to be a gas mask. Pretty soon, we heard the sound of gas leaking. But before we could react, all three of us passed out.
