Elliot's POV
"Okay Miss Elliot, please tell me exactly what happened.", the detective repeated, FOR THE THIRD TIME!
"I already told you everything. I saw you write it all down when I told you the first time.", I told detective Light Yagami through clenched teeth. He then held up his notepad to let me see the blank page which I thought had my claim on.
"Miss Elliot, as you can see, there is nothing on this page.", he said as if he had won, but he had made one slip up in his little lie.
"Mr. Yagami, chief of police, would you please flip through all of the pages please.", I asked calmly, knowing I won.
"Why?", he questioned. His face was blood red. I couldn't tell if it was because of anger or embarrassment.
"You said there was nothing on that page only, I would ask you to turn the next page but I'm assuming that you were smart enough to do it on some back page.", I explained to him. When I finished, he flipped through all of the pages on the notepad until I told him to stop at the pages that had my statement on.
"Hand it over.", I ordered. He gave the notepad to me and I simply did a slight bow and walked out of the room. Though, I have a feeling I will be meeting with Mr. Yagami and the rest of his task force very soon.
