The Purge Not Enough Time

Chapter 3:Highway Battle

As I got onto the freeway and started heading home, I noticed that little light come on that read "Low Fuel". Right as I saw that I immediately got off at an exit and pulled into a gas station. Since some people discovered how to burn fossil fuels without wasting them, gas was only .32 cents for FIVE gallons. So I put the nozzle into my car and went inside the convince store, once I got inside I saw two people both pointing guns at each other, then I heard it THIS IS NOT A TEST. THIS IS YOUR EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM ANNOUNCING THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE ANNUAL PURGE SANCTIONED BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. As I was listening to the announcement, I heard the nozzle click, I ran outside got into my truck and started it up. Once I got back to the highway, the purge was already underway. I stared pushing the peddle harder and harder as I saw more people get hit with others cars, since the highway was clogged up so much I had to turn onto the interstate. Once I was driving steady I noticed a helicopter with a huge crate on the bottom flying over, it must have been ten minutes before the helicopter opened its crate at out came at least fifty molotov cocktails all raining from the sky. It seemed like every five seconds ten bottles can crashing down and started a giant fire that went all across the interstate, I quickly turned around and got onto the service road and started driving, after I maxed out my truck. I saw three security bank trucks blocking the road, I turned onto the grass and started driving around the trucks,once I got around I tried maxing out my truck but I couldn't. I figured out that the people that put the trucks on the road also but spikes strips in the grass. while I was on the highway I felt someone shoot my trucks tires and try to get my engine, i turned out onto the the service road and tried to drive but only went five miles an hour so I had no choice but to get out of my truck and start walking home.
