Adrien wondered how Marinette would acted if he told her that he was in love with her. Of course Adrien knew there was Luka, but Mari had always shown great interest in Adrien. Or maybe she just did really love fashion. Adrien had always talked about Marinette and told everyone she was just a friend, but after getting rejected by Ladybug so many times, he realized that he really did like Marinette. She was prefect in every way. The way she wore her hair in two fluffy pigtails (that he wanted to touch so bad) or the way she was so clumsy, so he always had to catch her, or the way she was always there for everyone.

Adrien had dated Kagami for a while, and she was perfect too but, in order to be with her, Adrien had to pretend to be someone he wasn't. With Marinette he could truly be himself, and not worry about what she thought of him, and they trusted each other. He had always contemplated telling Mari that he was chat noir, but he knew ladybug's rules, and he would never put her in danger.

Adrien had gone over to Mari's house well, her parent's bakery to confess to Marinette, but she was at the cinema with Alya, Nino, and Luka. They had asked Adrien. If he wanted to go too, but since he broke up with Kagami, he thought that it would seem he was third wheeling on their double date so, he made up a lie about his father saying no. He loved his friends, and he knew they loved him but sometimes they would put him in awkward situations like, third wheeling on their double date cinema outings. Besides, his father probably would have said no anyways.

Since his whole friend group, and Marinette were at the Cinema, he waited in the park so that when he saw Marinette walking into the bakery he could walk in and act like he was just getting a freshly baked pastry, and then ask Mari's parents if he could go up to her room to hangout. Pretty foolproof, right? Then he would confess his love for her, and maybe just maybe, everything would go According to plan and Marinette would break up with Luka, Get with Him, Adrien, and then they could live happily ever after! They could have a hamster, and live in the tropics and survive off of nothing but fresh fruit!

Ok maybe Adrien was getting a little ahead of himself but he hoped that someday something like that would happen. Someday when hawk moth is finally defeated.

Just then Adrien saw Luka dropping Marinette off at the bakery on his yellow bike. She threw off her helmet into his basket yelled something at him, and stormed off. He looked really upset. As soon as Marinette walked inside and slammed the door shut, Adrien saw a tear roll down Luka's face as he pedaled away, towards the dock with the boat he lives on.

Adrien ran up to the bakery. Maybe he really had a chance now!! As he opens the door he is greeted by Marinette's parents and he asks if he can go and talk to marinette.

"Oh I don't know Adrien. Something just happened with Luka and she came in so upset!" Said Mari's mom, Sabine

"Please. I can help her! I've always been good at therapy ya know!"

"Oh all righty then go on up Adrien!"

Adrien walks over to the staircase leading up to the dupain-chengs living area. He walks over to the stairs, leading to marinette's room and he can hear he quiet sobs. He knocks on the trap door and opened it slowly. Marinette is sitting up in her loft at the corner of her bed.

"Go away, Alya. I don't want to talk right now."
She sniffs and buries her head in her pillow.

"Um actually, It's me, Adrien"

"GAH Adrien what are you doing here? who let you in here? LEAVE!!"

Adrien looks up at Marinette, her eyes are already swollen and red. He wished he could just run up and give her a big hug.

"im sorry Mari. If you want to talk I'm always here.."

He started to go down the steps when Marinette called out to him.
"Wait.. please stay. I need someone to talk too..it's been a long day.."
