A Preference For Bree

Looking after 3 children is really hard when your husband is away on tour alot.

It's like being a single mum, but your not single.

Haveing a strong, loving family is all I've ever wanted. And I love my family, but looking after 3 kids,

the youngest being 2 and the oldest being 16 and another one being 5 is really hard, especially when your on your own.

But Michael(Clifford) couldn't help it. He had to go on tour with his band, which can sometimes be really hard.

But when he is home, he is the most loving and careing husband I could ever ask for.

But it's been 4 months now, and he won't be home for another 5 months.

And it's really taking its toll on me and the kids. Most nights now Delilah(5) will come into my room at midnight and ask me when her daddy(where you dirty minded people at) will be home and if she can cuddle with me.

I just feel terrible because the other night I had to give her a sleeping pill just so she could get some descent sleep.

Charlie(girl)(2) doesn't seem to be as lively as she use to be and she is becoming more dependent of a dummy(pacifier) which is a habit that we broke a year ago.

But I'm just so happy to have Xavier(16) with me.
Because he is just so helpful with looking after his 2 younger sisters.

He just loves them so much and hates to see them crying.

He will do anything to make sure that they're ok. And he will always make sure that I'm doing fine aswell.

He is just such a loving child, takes after his father.
He always wants to put others needs befor his, which can sometimes stress him out abit.

But I'm just glad that he always comes to me for help.

Xavier can get a bit self-conscious at times because of a scar that he has on his stomach.

The meaning behind that scar is just truly amazing. The bravery behind that scar is just mind blowing.

The incedent happened when he was walking Delilah to the park lasts year.

They where crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing. And of coarse he looked both ways to confirm that there where no cars coming before they crossed.

But unfortunately for them, a car sped around the corner. And Xavier gently pushed Delilah out of the cars way before she got hit but he didn't get out of the way in time and ended up getting hit by the car.

And sadly it was a hit and run, but luckily someone that was jogging in the park saw and ran to their aid, calling the paramedics.

Xavier got taken to hospital with a broken arm, fractured leg, bruises(internal and external), and a massive gash on his stomach, hence the reason for the scar he has today.

Delilah is still very traumatised by that day. And suffers from panic attacks every now and again.

Xavier is always there to hold her trembling body, to tell her that everything will be ok. And honestly I couldn't ask for a better son
