It's been 6 months since your dad(Niall) left for tour.

You were really struggling.

Your grades in school started dropping.

You didn't sleep well at night.

You didn't eat as much as you used to.

It is a really hard time for you.

But your dad won't be home for another 4 months.

You just miss him so much.

You wake up to the sound of your alarm.

Sitting up you grab your phone, ending the alarm.

You sigh when you see your lock-screen.

It's a photo of you and your dad.

You sigh again and set your phone down on your bedside table and make you way to the bathroom to have a shower.

One you've finished in the shower you hop out grabbing your towel to dry your self.

You then walk to you cupboard and grab out your school uniform and put it on.

You then move onto your hair just simply brushing it, leaving it down.

After that you move onto your makeup.

You just apply some concealer, foundation and some mascara.

You walk back into your room and grab your bag, phone and headphones before walking downstairs to have some breakfast.

You grab an apple out of the fridge for breakfast and grab the money on the counter that your mum left you for lunch and head out the door locking it.

You plug in your head phones while starting the walk to school while munching on the apple you got for breakfast.

When you arrive at school everyone is looking at you with a happy look like they know something that you don't.

"That's weird" you think to your self.

Suddenly there is a message being said over the loudspeaker

"Can all students please make their way over to the gymnasium as we have a full school parade"

You internally groan as you make your way to the gymnasium.

Once you are there you find a seat and wait for the parade to start.

The principle walks up into the middle of the gymnasium and everyone is suddenly quite.

The principle greeted all the students and teachers.

She then asked you to come down and stand with her.

"Wait, what? Why me" you think to your self before grabbing your bag and walking down the stairs and over to the principle.

"Now as most of you may know Y/N's father Niall has been on tour for 6 months now, so I just want her to say a few words. Tell us what it's like without her dad around. Give us some inspiration"

The principle hands the microphone over to you.

"Well, it's been 6 months now, and it's been quite hard without dad here. he always used to help me with school work and I could tell him all my struggles. Mum works at the hospital and I only get to see her on the weekends because she wakes up at 4 and leaves for work and doesn't get back until 12 at night from Monday till Friday. She is struggling too, I just wish that dad would come home" you say bursting into tears.
You hand the mic back to the principle then cover your face as you cry.

You suddenly feel two arms wrap around your waist.

Not knowing who it is you scream lightly and turn around.

"DAD!" You scream, wrapping your arms around him, sobbing into his chest.

Everyone in the gymnasium starts chearing and clapping.

"Ssh darling, I'm hear now" your dad says running his hands through your hair.

"Does mum know your here?" You ask after you have calmed down.

"Nope. do you wanna come with me to surprise her?" he asks.

"Yes!" You say.

He wraps his arm around your shoulders as he walks you out of the school to his car.

Turns out he convinced management to give him 3 weeks off.
