Sasunaru Oneshots

🥀 Catch me if you can

This oneshot takes place in episode 134 of naruto, which was when Naruto, Kiba, Neji, Choji, and Shikamaru tried to stop Sasuke from going to orochimaru, in other words the point in the show which Sasuke left the village

I wanted to make this oneshot to show what I wished would've happend if Naruto hadn't feel unconscious and give a diffrent perspective of a bond they could've had

Ah I hope that made sense anyways I'll stop rambling-

Naruto layed on the concrete looking up at Sasuke who was standing behind him looking straight back at him. The two didn't even have to say anything to each other, their eyes said it all. 

Neither of them wanted it to come down to this since they both cared about each other deeply. A tear fell from Naurtos eyes and slid down his cheek, and just then it started raining  down on them covering up the tears coming out of his eyes. 

Sasuke's leaf village headband unraveled from his head and fell down next to Naruto's head making a clanking sound due to the metal. 

Sasuke was able to tell Naruto was crying even though it was raining. All of a sudden Sasuke felt a pain in his arm, his knees buckled and he dropped to the ground coughing up some blood. 

His face was now right above Narutos and they stared into each other eyes once more. "S-sasuke please d-dont leave," Naruto begged feeling that was his last hope at this point. Sasuke put on a sorrowful smile as he looked down at Naruto. "I'm sorry.... Naruto… But I need to do this. I can't keep living like this with this weight on my shoulder," Sasuke told Naruto.

"S-sasuke I need you," Naruto told the raven. In a way the two had always related to each other with their pains and what they've gone through, but both had different types of pain.  

Naruto, the boy without a family who experienced nothing but loneliness before he became a genin.

And Sasuke, the boy who's clan was wiped out by his own brother when he was younger. 

Both had slightly envied and were jealous of each other. Naruto was jealous that Sasuke had actually been able to meet and have a family at one point. While Sasuke was jealous that Naruto had never had family so he didn't know what he was losing. 

At the end of the day they were always there for each other. Occasionally Sasuke would just come by to Naruto's place and spend the night just to have his company. And Naruto would sometimes go to Sasukes. 

They would never vent to each other, just enjoy each other's company and sometimes share some cries. They wouldn't speak about it, it was like a silent, unspoken bond between them. Their relationship was really like no other. 

Naruto just didn't know what he would do whenever he was feeling lonely and just wanted some company. Where he didn't have to mask his emotions and be cheerful and the perky blonde everybody thought he was. 

"Naruto I can't stay. I'm sorry I have to follow my own path and you'll be okay, your strong Naruto," Sasuke told Naruto, forcing a smile as tears started to roll down his cheek as well. 

"N-no I'll keep chasing after you till I get you back Sasuke I'll never stop until I get you back!" Naruto said with determination. Sasuke only chuckled at what naruto said. "I'm looking forward to it dobe" Naruto opened his mouth ready to give Sasuke a piece of his mind and give a speech when the raven had suddenly pressed his lips against the blondes. 

Naruto instantly kissed back the same butterflies that fluttered in his stomach the 1st and 2nd time they kissed had came. But this kiss was different then the others, and that was because it wasn't an accidental kiss.

The kiss reassured Naruto that everything would be okay but the blonde's heart was still slowly cracking thinking about how it would be without Sasuke. They broke away from the short sweet kiss and Sasuke once again smiled down at the blonde. 

"I really didn't want to fight you Naruto and I'm sorry it had to end this way but you did it to yourself being more stubborn as ever" Sasuke laughed and you could hear the lump in the ravens throat. 

"But-" 

"I'll visit you once in a while and maybe I'll let you try and catch me a bit but it won't be that easy Naruto" 

Sasuke started to get up, still looking at Naruto the whole time. Once the Uchia had gotten up he told Naruto one last thing before taking off....

"I love you dobe, catch me if you can" 

I had rewatched episode 134 of Naruto just for this oneshot and I started crying all over again😭

Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed the first angst oneshot of this book
