Yesterday, my partner Atsushi and I were assigned a case in the Miyagi prefecture. It seems the Port mafia is after an ability user who goes to school in the area. We are supposed to go in and confirm they have an ability. If they have an ability we are tasked with protecting them until the port mafia loses interest. If they don't we can leave and forget anything even happened.
If you can't tell already, I am still very much in bed. I want to get up but at the same time, I don't.
"YUKOOOOOO!!!" I hear from my bedroom door before the door is slammed open and my bandaged messy haired brother is smothering me, "get up! get up! Let's talk about the perfect suicide!" he then gets up and jumps up and down on my bed.
"cut the act Osamu, what are you actually doing in here?" I ask trying to mess with him.
"Yukooooo, why are you like this?" he says as he falls dramatically on the floor.
"Brother of mine! I have forsaken you! whatever should I do?!" I say as I get up and dramatically run over to him and cradle his quote on quote dead body, "I deserve death! I will be following you to the afterlife!"
"You're an idiot," he says after opening one eye to look at me before laughing.
"Get out of my room doofus, I have to get ready and then we can talk about the perfect suicide while we eat," I said as I open my closet.
I pull out my outfit and quickly change into it.

After I am done I look at the alarm and panic.
"Osamu! I am late! I have to go to my new school all the way to the Miyagi prefecture today!" I say as I run out of my bedroom and towards the front door.
"If you find any good suicide sites, you know how to get a hold of me!" he yelled back before I closed the front door behind me.
When I got outside I am met by one Atsushi, who just grabs my hand and runs towards the train station, yelling how we have to be there 2 hours before school to scout it out, in between breaths.
"Atsushi, there's not a train that goes straight to Miyagi from Yokohama," I said giving him the bad news.
Atsushi in return stops running, turns around, and goes dead silent looking like a deer in headlights.
"I have the perfect plan though!" I say as I take out my phone and dial a phone number.
When the person on the other side answers I yell, "Kunikida-kunnnnnn, I need your helpppppp, I have to get from Yokohoma to Miyagi within 3 hours!"
"Go die! Dazai 2.0!" he yells through the phone.
"Don't be mad now, raising your blood pressure can make your head swell like a balloon," I say back, knowing he will naively write it down in his journal.
