Night finally fell and everyone was settled around a camp fire as Rick explained his experience "disorienting comes closest, I felt like I was ripped out of my life and put somewhere else" she lets out a small sad sigh as she prays her family is alright what she has left of them anyway, the night went rather smooth apart from a stubborn jack ass she can already tell she'll be wanting to beat the shit out of if she spends even 5 minutes around him, but she ended up getting closer to some of the group Dale being one of her favorites and Amy who was Andreas sister was very happy to get to know her, she even made peace with Andrea...well mostly but who knows how long that will last, a warmth fell over her chest as she saw everyone sitting happily with their loved ones laughing and just forgetting about the grim truth of their new world, after everyone said goodnight she headed for her tent to get the things ready she needs for her Merle saving mission and to catch a few hours of sleep.

When she woke up she checked her watch seeing it was around 4 in the morning, she sees Dale on watch but other than that it seems lifeless around camp, "now where are you heading to?" she hears his voice, now she hoped the old man would ignore her tough she wasn't exactly sneaking out she just didn't want to waist time explaining herself, she gives him a small smile none the less "I'm gonna go bring Mrele back, can't just leave him there you know" he gives her an incredulous look "alone?" she gives him a nod "it's best I go alone, quiet and fast...that and from what I seen today not many of the others would want to go help him anyway...please don't try to stop me, I'm going to go help him regardless of your protest so please let's not do the cliché wait and people will band together and save him as a group, so give them a chance speech I'd really like to go before everyone else wakes up and has a huge debate on if its worth it or not, he's human and he deserves someone willing to care enough to at least try and save his ass" he gives her an understanding and somewhat proud/worried dad look.

she can see curiousness settling in his eyes "why not just sneak out?" she gives him a small laugh "it did occur to me but that would just raise worry and un-necessary panic so..." He gives her a nod "alright here at the very least take this with you" the man hands her some bold cutters "great thanks Dale I appreciate it, these will definitely come in handy" he gives her a nod "oh I don't care if you tell anyone where I've gone...but I will ask that you only tell them if they ask" the man hums in agreement "alright but in return I only ask that you come back safe...oh and make sure those bolt cutters come back along with you the last time I let someone from our group borrow my tools they got left on the roof with Merle" she gives him a small smile "I'll do that and I'll bring your other tools back too" with that she left on her long walk back to the hell hole death trap that is the city.

The sun had already risen when she arrived at the entrance to the walking corpse filled place but she felt rather proud that it had only taken her 3 hours to arrive "still got it, this is why cardio is important" she says to herself before figuring out the best root to the Roof on her way there she managed to only run in to two problems one being a few walkers but managed to take care of them rather easily, now officially taking the robin hood approach and killing walkers in her way silently with her bow things are going much more smoothly, the second problem was the sight that greeted her when she finally reached the roof which was not a pleasant one mind you.

She crouches down over the cuffs and the severed hand belonging to Merle, inspecting the area taking notice of the small amount of blood instead of a gigantic pool she feels slightly appreciative of the idiot "Well at least the dumbass was smart enough to use a tourniquet but I would have appreciated it more if he didn't chop of his hand and just waited a little longer" with that she got up not wanting to waste time since he could still be bleeding out somewhere so she decided to follow his blood trail and eventually the stench of burnt flesh filled her nose, with that she finally found him passed out on the floor, rushing to his side she quickly assessed his hand well stump first before doing a check up "well I guess cauterizing it wasn't your worst move, you might not be as dumb as I thought" she says ignoring the urge to smack him against the head.
