A/N: Catherine is not my real name. Catherine is just a random name I favour. This is a twisted version of a dream I had twice or thrice when I was about 7 or 8.
It was a normal day for Catherine. She was sitting on a couch in the living room while watching Fairly Odd Parents on Nickelodeon.
Once the show finished she began looking through the channels. After a few minutes of looking through she turned of the television. Catherine went into the bedroom she shares with her family to find a book.
Catherine finds the book she was re-reading and mutters to no-one "The Adventures of Robin Hood. I'll re-read Sherlock Holmes next. Maybe." She sat down on the bed she shares with her grandmother and began to read.

A few minutes later Catherine had finished re-reading The Adventures of Robin Hood . She set The book back on the small shelf by the window. She began to search the two tiered shelf for a book titled Sherlock Holmes or Green Gables.
She found both of the books she was looking for stacked together. Catherine decided to give Green Gables a chance even if she didn't find the cover, nor title interesting. After all she did favour the saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover." Another reason is that the book cost money and it was a hard cover as well.
Catherine heard the scream of her sister and immediately ran toward the door. She had closed the door when she went into the bedroom for some privacy and perhaps peace. The door had ice on the edges that were spreading in all directions.
"Scream for help you idiot! No one will hear us. No one could help us and it will just put them in danger. Calling anyone. This reminds me of that movie, I think it was called Ice Queen?" She internally debated in her mind what to do with some random interruptions.
The door blasts open and a strong, cold gust of wind follows. There was a dagger on the door, but Catherine didn't know what it was. However she did know it wasn't a knife. Catherine warily went out the door to look for her family. Random thoughts popped up in her head. "This is stupid! I'm either being very brave or very stupid. Is this what knights and soldiers did? Weapon! Pole! No weapon around. School. Fuzzy. Dream . . . Nightmare? Ugh! None of these thought will help. Thinking."
The room had turned into ice. The whole house is covered in ice. In the centre of the room Catherine was in stood her sister. She was frozen in ice. She looked like she was running and had a panicked look of fear on her face.
Catherine looked around the room conflicted between with horror and wonder. Horror of what faith awaits everyone. Wonder of how beautiful everything looked. Catherine had a way of always finding something good even in the worst of situations. She was an optimist. But she didn't know that.
Cold laughter came from the room across her. It was her aunt's bedroom.
What happened in the black part in the original dream was I somehow convince the ice queen to undo everything and become "good.
