The dark, musky Tunnel actually had a calm aura to it; but even then I had I couldn’t help feeling that someone was following me. To prevent myself from getting scared, I resolved to speaking to myself.
“Okay Nick, steady yourself. One step, two steps. You’re walking and walking.”
Before I had realised, I had passed through the worst of the Tunnel. The swampy, mossy, stuffy part of the Tunnel I had long since passed.
I then continued as it stopped my mind wandering and trying to scare me.
“You’re walking and walking and walk……”
