Meeting her

Abby's POV

Noel walked back into my room, after everything was cleaned up and I was all calmed down.

"How is she?" I asked.

"She perfect Abby. I cried, cried and I never cry." He said,

"But, how is she health wise?"

"She needs a breathing machine to help her and she weighted 4 pounds 1 1/2 oz, and she is 15 inches. Other than that she's perfect she's eating, pooping, and smiling."

"Can I see her?"

"Yeah, lets go." He said as he helped me into a wheelchair.

-at the NICU-

I didn't what to think going passed all these small things, just 8 months ago I didn't think I was capable of making a human being and here I am seeing my daughter for the first time. It feel surreal.

"Here she is." As Noel stopped in front of an incubator the had a name tag on it with the name Sierra.

"She's so tiny."

"She a fighter, Abby."

"I know she is."

Than a nurse came over.

"Just the people I was looking for I need the birth certificate information."

"Okay."

"What's her name? Full name actually?"

"Sierra Elise Underwood."

"Abby, what about the adoptive parents?"

"I am keeping her, Noel."

After I said that he had pure happiness and shock in his face.

"Okay, thank you."

"What nurse before you go, can I hold her?"

"Absolutely."

She came back and opened the incubator and handed my daughter to me, I wanted to think this was a dream but I wasn't.

"She looks like you." I said to Noel.

"No, she looks like you."

She had a nose that I had, Noel's smirky smile and a few pieces of hair in her head that were brown that could've only belonged to Noel, but she had my blue sparkling eyes.

"She's got your eyes."

"She's perfect. Now about college?"

"Will figure it out later. Abby I am sorry I said that school was more important, because really Sierra is."

"I forgive you."

Now we had to tell his parents and the adoptive parents that had the baby but how?
