Chapter five-Not what I expected

Luka's POV
As the Lunch bell rang I grabbed my guitar and headed to the roof. I pushed my back against the fence and closed my eyes. I still can't believe that happened...

                        (Flashback.
This happened yesterday after Adrien
                          got home)
"Hey Luka, have you seen Marinette anywhere?"

"No but I can help look for her, I have a hunch where she might be"

"Thanks Luka, you're the best!"

"Anytime!"
I smiled and walked towards the rooftop. Marinette always goes there to have a breath of fresh air. As I got to the door leading to the rooftop Kagami ran out with an angry look on her face, I held her by the wrist and asked her what happened. But as she looked up at me she was crying, Alya came up the stairs behind me and asked if I found Marinette but quickly realized Kagami was in tears. I tried my best to calm Kagami down then left the rest to Alya who took Kagami to the others to cheer her up.
I had never seen Kagami cry in my whole life, what could have made her feel so sad that she'd burst into tears. I swear to God whoever did this is gonna-

"Marinette?"
Marinette was also in tears

"Marinette what's wrong?" I reached out to touch her shoulder but she grabbed me tightly by the wrist

"M-marinette?"

"M-marinette you're h-hurting me"

"Don't touch me!"
Marinette pushed me away
I was able to regain my balance but that didn't help matters.

"Marinette, what's wrong?"

"Apparently Kagami wanted to hangout with me and then after we came to the rooftop, she asked me if I liked Adrien, I answered yes and then she said that Adrien's lucky to have me. I broke down in tears and told her that Adrien would never like me. She tried to tell me otherwise and when I refused to listen she grabbed my wrist and screamed at me, telling me that Adrien does like me but is too blind to realise it, out of self defense I pushed her and she almost fell off the roof. How was I supposed to know she was terribly afraid of heights?! And on top of that she could have almost died, I felt horrible and tried to apologize when she ran out"

"It's Ok Marinette, it's not your fault I-"

"Just leave me alone"

"But I-"

"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

She pushed me again and I fell down on the floor, my leg was bleeding. I didn't bother to wait for Marinette to apologize, I got up and used the wall to balance me enough for me to walk out of the place and to the Med bay

"Did I...do something wrong?"
I felt a tear slowly run down my face and that's how they kept coming. I heard footsteps so I quickly wiped my face and pretended to tune my guitar.
"Oh hi Luka" Adrien smiled.
He walked over to where I was sitting and sat next to me.
"Hey Adrien!" I tried my best to fake a smile.
He frowned and glared at me
"What's wrong?" I asked
No response.
"Are you ok?" He asked tilting his head to the side. "What do you mean?", " Your eyes aren't red but they are dried up lines of water on you face, your eyes look foggy and you mouth is scrunched up which means you have the urge to sniff".
This Adrien Kid is Impressive, no ones been able to detect my mood except for Mum and sometimes Juleka. Adrien held my hands which snapped me out of my daze, he looked up at me and hugged me. I felt heat spread from my nose all the way to my ears. I digged my head into his neck and hugged him back. I sniffed his hair, "You smell nice" I mumbled and slightly blushed. "Look Luka, please don't hide anything from me again, I'm your friend and whether I understand or not you have to tell me if there's something brothering you, ok?" He said cupping my cheeks.

"S-sure" I stammered and looked down.
Adrien then broke into laughter.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"You look so adorable like this" Adrien said squishing my cheeks which triggered the tip of my tongue to pop out.

"Awwwwww" He smiled.
My heart stopped
