~the meeting~

The four were shocked that it actually worked. Adrien the most. He was his own so and had NEVER gotten a meeting with him that fast. So needless to say after the usually shy bluenette had scored a meeting as fast as she did and took charge of the situation, he was a little awestruck. He had never known Marinette could be so- so- passionate and caring. Especially about him. Nowadays after his mom was gone it felt like there weren't very many people left that actually cared. His father was heartless and wouldn't even talk to his own son. His friends didn't notice.

But Marinette did. She noticed everything about him. She noticed the way his hair flowed. She noticed that many of his smiles were fake. She noticed the spark in his eyes when she talked about Ladybug, or croissants. She noticed the sadness in his eyes. She noticed the facade he put on. And it bothered her that he felt the need to put one on, even with his best friends. So instead of him being "happy" under a facade, she wanted to actually make him happy. And she was determined to do so, crush or not, she wanted to do this for him.

It was quiet the entire walk there. Everybody was thinking about possible outcomes of this meeting, whether it was going to be successful...or whether it would be...well, unsuccessful. If it were the latter, Gabriel could probably go so far as to stop Alya, Nino, and Marinette from communicating with Adrien.

With everybody lost in their own heads they didn't even notice they had arrived at the man's office until Nathalie said,"He will see you in a moment." Then left. Marinette took this as a sign to gather her nerves, with the help of Tikki's silent cheering from her purse, that is.

Nathalie came back and opened the doors for the group to enter. His office was very modern, with all the latest technology. And he seemed to handle it surprisingly well for such an old man. He looked at the teens with a steely expression.

"What matters do you have with me concerning the school and my son?"

Marinette cleared her throat and said,"Monsieur Agreste, as you know we are all seniors now. And we have been informed that we all are going to have a senior field trip to the Caribbean islands. Seeing how Adrien is excelling all classes, and has kept up with the rigorous schedule you have for him, we wanted to know if you would allow him to go on the trip."

"Absolutely not. Adrien has to keep up his modelling."

"Ah, but sir, with all due respect,  Adrien does have a rigorous schedule, wouldn't you agree? I mean with mandarin lessons, fencing, piano, school, and modelling? He hardly has enough time to breath. So with a jam packed schedule like that- he deserves a break. Otherwise he could easily buckle under the pressure. He needs a break in his life. And besides, it's nearing summer, soooo~ that means you would have a new summer collection coming out soon. And what better place to model for a summer collection? A tropical island. Meaning he could still go and keep up with your modelling." Alya and Nino nodded after she finished.

The man thought. The girl made a convincing arguement, even though he was still getting over the shock that she had argued with him. Nobody had EVER argued with what he had to say. And if he was being honest the girl reminded him of Emilie. That made his mind up.

"Mlle. Dupain-Cheng, given that you yourself are an aspiring fashion designer you know your ropes around the industry. And you are correct that I have a summer line coming soon. So, if I do decide to let Adrien attend on this trip. Here are my demands, Everyday Adrien will have a photoshoot in the mornings, except on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Per usual schedule, there may be few times when he will have to do it on a free day, but not often. Next, as I said, since you are a fashion designer yourself, you will pick out Adrien's outfit and attend all photoshoots along with him. And I expect to get results for EVERY photoshoot, no matter what happens. Lastly, no funny business."
