The final thing on my to do list for the year was to pass all of my classes. I had a rough semester due to the mania and the change in my environment, but my percentages were high enough to make my goal possible.
I was shocked. Despite everything, I still held onto my success without fail, even though I was constantly being jerked around by my mind. Now I had new battles to fight; senior year.
I thought about what I would do after I graduated. I knew I wanted to go to college and leave home as soon as possible, but I didn't really have a plan.
You're running out of time.
My optimism was quickly fleeting due to my circumstances, because I knew this was just the beginning.
