THREE MONTHS LATER...
"Scarlett...Scarlett! Get up! We have to go." Pansy busted into the room and immediately used her wand to start throwing things into a bag.
My heart began to race before I even got out of the bed. Without even thinking about it, I grabbed Lyra from her bassinet, holding her close to me before I even got a word out.
"What? Why? What's happening?" I asked, grabbing at random for Lyra's things and sending them into a carriable bag.
Ginny burst into the room quickly following with two heavy cloaks in hand. Hermione burst in behind Ginny, wearing something similar.
"They know we're here. Allies closer to their headquarters intercepted radio transmissions and they saw them leave two minutes ago. We have to go now!" Hermione shouted, helping me grab things for the baby, who was now starting to cry in my arms.
It didn't occur to me to grab anything for myself. The only thing I was worried about was making sure Lyra wouldn't freeze in the temperatures outside. Thank god Pansy had her head on somewhat straight, and grabbed handfuls of clothes for me and her, shoving them into Hermione's never-ending bag.
I clothed Lyra in everything warm I could find before securing her tightly to my chest with a wrap, all in under three minutes with the help of magic.
And just like that, Grimmauld Place was added to the list of places that we were now forced from in fear of our lives.
I threw on the heavy cloak that Ginny brought for Pansy and I, throwing up my hood and making sure that Lyra was safe and secured beneath the layers of warmth, before we were all as a group sucked out of the next target of a death eater attack just as the hinges were being blown off the front door.
"Where are we?" Pansy asked as soon as our feet hit the ground.
There weren't as many people there now as when we left, and immediately I felt panic set in.
"It's dangerous for us all to be at the same place at the moment." Hermione panted, holding a tight grip on Pansy's hand, "We will all meet again once we find somewhere safe for us all to stay for the time being."
Pansy and Ginny were on either side of me. Hermione, Charlie Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Fred Weasley, Mad-Eye, Arthur Weasley, and Ron Weasley were the others amongst our group. Everyone else was nowhere to be found.
Lyra whimpered quietly, coming down from her previous crying as we started to walk through the misty woods we had landed in. It was barely morning, and the sun was already being completely cloaked by a thick shield of clouds. There was snow on the ground, but only a few inches thick, making me glad that I opted for boots, and wrapped Lyra up tightly.
I peered down beneath my cloak to see that she had found sleep again quickly, and for that I thanked Merlin. Perhaps my heart pounding so loudly reminded her of being in the womb, and lulled her back to sleep.
"She alright?" Ginny asked, motioning to where Lyra was covered.
I nodded, breathing out and seeing my breath float into the air, "Sleeping."
"Lucky little shit." Pansy yawned and readjusted her hood of her winter robes.
"Any idea of where we are headed?" Ron asked, rubbing his hands together for warmth.
"There's an old shelter somewhere a few miles into the woods," Arthur motioned forward, "It was used by the original Order. An old bomb shelter from a muggle war that was repurposed by Molly's brothers during the first war. That's why I brought us here. I thought I maybe could find it and use it as temporary base camp until we got in contact with the others."
