Christmas had now approached and Azure was on her way home for the holidays. After walking down an icy trail in the countryside, she finally approached the old grey cottage flowing with snow covered ivy. She opened the yellow door to be welcomed by the smell of fresh pastries.

"Mum? I'm home!" She bellowed whilst closing the door behind her. She placed her owls cage on the table. Once she opened the door to the cage her Tawny owl, Amice, took flight to find some rats out in the field. Azure walked over to the scones that sat on the table, scarfing one down when she then felt arms wrap around her waist. Turning around she was met with a smiling blonde. Her piercing brown eyes connecting with her daughters. Azure pulled the woman into a warm hug.

"Mum, I missed you!" She smiled into the embrace. Pulling back her mother replied, "As much fun as it is to have some alone time, I very much missed my daughter." They both chuckled as they relished in the affection of one another. "Oh how touching." A gloomy voice blurted out. Azure's gaze then rested on the one person she despised being here. His curly dark black hair shining in the moonlight. His chiseled jaw looking more soft as he smirked. His amber eyes held a stern look. He pulled a long face, "What? No hug for me?" He laughed, still holding a mischievous grin. Letting go of her mother, Azure walked slowly over to her brother.

"Why are you here?!" Her voice was hard, keeping a piercing glare at her brother. Marv Binx was sorted into Slytherin when he went to Hogwarts. Being the same age as Bill Weasley, and was even friends with Bill at one point. Marv held true to his cunning ambitions by letting power overtake him. He decided to follow Lord Voldemort blindly into the dark. Even becoming a great spy for "You-Know-Who", which led Azure to hate him. Abruptly she grabbed his left arm, taking a good look at the skull with the snake coming out of its mouth. The Dark Mark. He forced his arm back while looking down at the ground. Guilt flooding in his eyes. He regained his posture, peering down at her with that same smirk on his lips.

"Come on, Blue. You still won't forgive me?" Marv teased, although something else lingered in his tone. Keeping her features fierce Azure responded, "Not after what you did. You got him killed and you know it." She slapped his face hard enough to let her message sink in. He rubbed his cheek and was about to speak when she pushed him against the nearest wall. Holding the collar of his shirt she started again, her voice threatening. "And. do. not. call. me. Blue." She felt a soft grip on her shoulder and let him go. Turning back, she was faced with her mother's weary look.

"Azure dear, I asked Marv to come home." Her mother stated with worry written on her appearance. She looked at her mother in disappointment. Why would she ask this selfish bloke to come home? After he got him killed, why should he be able to see his family again? Shaking her head, Azure headed straight up the stairs to her room. Amice flew into her room through the window, carrying a big dead rat in her beak. Azure pulled out some spare parchment and ink, beginning to write.

Dear George and Fred,

I hope your holidays are going well! Mine were going splendid until a certain someone decided to show up. Don't worry about me though, I'm doing perfectly fine.

I wish I could spend Christmas with you two. Godric knows it would be way more fun! Mum sends her love and wishes to meet you boys soon. It would be great if you could reply soon, however no rush! Hope you like the gifts I got you! I thought extra hard about it this year.

Happy Christmas Weasley's!

Lots of love,

Azure

Azure sealed the letter and then started to write a new one.
